Room is clean, breakfast has a lot of variety, distance to Street pub is within walking distant, free shuttle server to and fro to airport is convenient.

Central city locationPosted Jun 29, 2014
General decoration has seen better days but cleanliness was excellent. Breakfast was outstanding, lots of choice and change in menu. Staff were very helpful and polite. Central location meant easy access to markets and restaurants. Was value for money.

large and overpriced hotel close to pub streetPosted Jun 29, 2014
Staff courteous, obliging, helpful and smiling as always (bearing in mind this is pretty much the norm in Cambodia). Requested specific room location in building ahead of stay, and this was granted. Good bed, mattress pillows, and linen. Small balcony with view on the very nice large pool with pool bar. Air conditioning unit noisy. Bath robes worn and tatty; cheap (throw-away) and uncomfortable slippers. In-room mini-bar items overpriced (compared to other similarly rated hotels in Siem Reap and Phnom Penh). Absence of small snack items in room (i.e. peanuts, etc...). Absence or unavailability of iron/ironing board and umbrellas. Large selection, good presentation and quality of food for breakfast at the restaurant. Very average toiletry products in bathroom, 'slow' and poor flow rate shower (hot water). Very disappointing day spa, 1 hour hot oil aromatherapy massage just too expensive for very average massage technique, and common room setting. Generally all extra items are overpriced, or outrageous (i.e. expresso coffee and laundry/pressing services). Registration and book very efficient and smooth.

Excellent hotel great staffPosted Jun 7, 2014
My husband had a few health issues in Siem reap and we had to stay an extra night. This hotel was our saving grace. Staff went out of their way to be friendly and assist, lovely rooms, large pool to cool down in and good location close to popular pub street.

Very good location but quality of breakfast poorPosted Jun 3, 2014
Hotel is 5 mins walk from pub street where everything happens. Staff hospitality is very good too. Breakfast has many options but quality of food is terrible. Be aware if you are vegetarian as there are hardly any options as some people in our party were vegetarian who struggled with breakfast. As with good hotels facilities/food is overpriced by some way in comparison to what's available in restuarants right outside. Given how cheap it is I would still recommend.

centrally locatedPosted May 16, 2014
Pros: location, price, friendliness, cleanliness
Location: centrally located. Angkor Wat complex, Tonle Sap, Khmer Ways for countryside moto ride day trip, landmine and war museums, restaurants -Pub st, shops.
This is the 2nd time I have stayed here and both times have been great. It is located central to the shops, markets and restaurants and is only 6km to Angkor Wat -a short tuk tuk away. The rooms are very clean, air conditioned - which is a welcome relief after a hot day out . Buffet breakfast was nice and the staff very friendly. It is also a very affordable place to stay.

Nice hotel, great pool area.Posted May 2, 2014
Pros: The Pool.
Cons: More lounge chairs around the pool.
Location: A few nice restuarants near by.
Would recommend this hotel as it is in a good location, breakfast is adequate. The pool is great especially after a day of sight seeing. The only down side that there are never enough vacant lounge chairs around the pool especially towards the end of the day.

Great LocationPosted Apr 29, 2014
Hotel Somadevi Angkor Resort & Spa is located in the centre of Siem Reap, just a few blocks from the restaurant strips and night market. A hidden gem which was great with a young family, with a fabulous refreshing pool and bar with delicious banana smoothies for cooling down at the end of a busy day sightseeing. Can highly recommend it if you're after somewhere family friendly, affordable and comfortable. We would definitely stay here again!

Nice hotel 10 min walk to Pub Street.Posted Apr 16, 2014
Friendly staff. Enjoyed our stay there and would happily recommend the hotel to anyone. However, the food like other restaurants in Siem Reap is below average. Wish we could find better food there.
