Excellent locationPosted Nov 5, 2013
EXcellent location... cozy hotel... friendly and accommodating staff. Unfortunately my room fan broke down during my stay and my room air condition is turning itself off automatically!

It was a nice hotel with polite and pleasant staffPosted Sep 20, 2013
Pros: It's in a quiet place and yet accessible to nearby interesting places.
Location: Wi-Fi signals keep dropping at times. Could be more consistenct.
I enjoyed the courtesy and eagerness of the welcoming atmosphere.

Close to bar street, lots of restaurants nearbyPosted Aug 21, 2013 on Hotels.com
The hotel was clean and close to the bar street. just a few minutes walk or 1 dollar tuk tuk. If you are tired after dinner in bar street. get on the tuk tuk and tell the driver only cross the bridge. It shouldn't cost more than 1 dollar.

Siem Reap - Karavansara RetreatPosted Aug 19, 2013
Karavansara Retreat was fantastic, a lovely place to stay with helpful and friendly staff. Any time we asked a question or wanted help they were quick to assist and help us out. Walking distance to Pub Street and markets. The use of the 1958 Mercedes Benz was wonderful for when we wanted to go further.

Near party town...Posted Aug 13, 2013
Pros: Walking distance from the night life and daily market
Cons: Not the largest of funkiest of the room but it was pleasing overall
Location: Not the picturesque French quarter but real camdodian back street. Real and down to earth not dreamy.
Nice hotel, high quality service... Good location. The hotel is pretty small but well served by it stuff

A little gemPosted Aug 9, 2013
Pros: Location, food and staff
Cons: very hard to have a least favorite thing
Location: Very close to Siem Reap markets and centrally located
This small hotel located in an old French villa was a great find. Our room was relatively large and clean and was cleaned each day. It was very quiet with little or no street noise and contained a good bathroom. The staff went out of their way to make us feel comfortable and even helped with organizing our local SIM card for our phone on arrival. Having some one coming out into the rain to hold an umbrella over us when we arrived back from visiting Angkor Wat, so that we did not get wet, was certainly unexpected but very welcome. The hotel restaurant is small but the food was delicious. The Lemon Kampot Clams as a starter was fantastic and the Mango Fish with Spinach Rice and Spiced Grilled Steak were as good as you will get in the best restaurants in the city. We loved the place.

Good service & great location!Posted Jul 7, 2013 on Hotels.com
Overall Comfortable stay. One comment, for the colonial type of room, the toilet layout is quite awkward in the center of the room & the sliding door doesn't seem to fit & close properly. The toilet door in the Garden type of room is much better....at least is not a sliding door...

Very modern, small and private!Posted May 9, 2013 on Hotels.com
Loved it, would recommend to anyone. Great friendly staff. Roof top pool is small but idle as there are only a few rooms available. Great for friends and family without kids. Area is quiet and situated by cheaper restaurants than centre. will return one day I hope!
