Classy romantic hotel perfectly locatedPosted Nov 29, 2013
Pros: A colonial look with the right touch of modernism. A good breakfast. Efficient staff.
Cons: A larger garden would be ideal but otherwise close to perfection
Location: The hotel is very close to downtown - walking distance. Everyone that goes to Siem reap is visiting the temples.
Perfect location. Wonderful rooms furnished with taste. Excellent restaurant even if expensive. The Cambogian menus must be tried to have a perfect experience of the refined food.

Excellent base from which to explore Siem ReapPosted Oct 3, 2013
Pros: Very comfortable and spacious rooms. The pool surrounded (almost) by a jungle. Staff that simply couldn't be more helpful.
Location: The primary reason to visit Siem Reap must be to see the Angkor World Heritage area. Siem Reap is also a fun place to visit.
In the centre of Siem Reap an oasis of calm and serenity. The staff simply could not be more helpful. At almost no notice they were able to arrange for an outstanding private guide at very reasonable cost for a tour of the Angkor World Heritage area. Lovely rooms overlooking the pool/jungle, an excellent spa and surprisingly good breakfasts to prepare one for a full dat of temple trekking.

A teak haven with a french colonial feelPosted Jan 30, 2013
Pros: Gorgeous hotel, spotlessly clean, superb service with a genuine friendliness.
Cons: You could openly see through the bathroom doors!
Location: The hotel was on the river, about 5 minutes tuk tuk drive from the old market.
A beautiful hotel in an excellent location. The staff were genuinely friendly and helpful but not obtrusive. I have never written review before but i feel this is worth writing about. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and would visit again.

WonderfulPosted May 26, 2012
Pros: Wonderful ambience; beautiful timber buildings opening out to magnificent gardens and pool area. Wonderful staff.
Location: Short walk to the town centre and markets
Magnificent hotel; stately buildings of stone and strong, traditional timber structures containing the main reception, excellent dining room areas and accommodation areas which open out onto beautiful gardens with significant water themes. The room we were in was similarly decked out in beautiful deep coloured timber and flooring and contained all the mod cons tv and free wi-fi etc; fantastic shower was welcome after a hard day's treking around old temples. Good gym facilities and magnificent pool area. We had daily breakfast included and it was a terrific spread. Attentive, friendly, respectful staff. Lovely ambience. Close to town centre and markets where we frequented the local cultural highlights. We'll be back.

Wonderful hotel stay.Posted Dec 23, 2011
Location: Great location, with a quick walk downtown.
Thsi is a terrific hotel. We could not have asked for a nicer stay. Decoration has a eastern zen feel, but not overdone. Rooms are generous and nicely decorated. Nice sheets, beautiful and modern bathrooms, a patio if you want to hang out outdoors. Service was top notch - everyone friendly and attentive without being overbearing. Food was excellent. They have a very nice buffet breakfast which was included w our room and we had lunch at the hotel twice - excellent quality food both times. Location is excellent w the main downtown location a 10 minute walk or a quick ride into town. They also have a nice gym. Only complaint was a massage we had which wasnt great. Overall, an excellent stay. Highly recommended.
