People so nice and hotel beautiful!

Posted Apr 15, 2014
Pros: The pool, the staff, the big and clean rooms
Cons: The quickness of service while at the pool
Location: Nothing around really - need to take a tuk tuk into the night markt area. BUT there is a market across the street and a pharmacy down the road.
This hotel over all is great! You have to take a tuk tuk to town and the temples (or a car) but it is nice to be away from the noise and hounding of the people in the Night Market Area. It is 1 dollar per person in the tuk tuk each way for a 10-15 min. ride depending on traffic. The pool is amazing. The staff is friendly. The breakfast is delicious. We got a great deal for the Deluxe Twin Room ($60 a night). I would not want to pay much more than that though because there are other accommodations around for cheaper- but this is a resort- not a hotel and not a budget motel or guest house. You will have the best food, safe, clean, no bugs (maybe a gecko or two). Things are done a little slower, but that is cultural. Mr. Lim the manager is extremely friendly. They will arrange free pick up and drop off at the hotel which takes a lot of stress away when you first arrive. Booking trips and drivers is $5-15 more than booking on your own if you need to save money, but it is very convenient if you do not care about that. I would recommend to all!!

Nice hotel and very pleasant staff

Posted Apr 14, 2014
Pros: Staff
Cons: The facilities looked a little tired including the rooms.
Location: Location was very good being close to all the other major hotels and also to the airport.
We stayed for 4 days and it was a very pleasant trip for me and my family. Facilities were good but the staff were simply excellent, ie, very accommodating and friendly. I cannot recall being in a hotel where the staff come out of their way to ensure that you are being attended to. Keep up the good standard !

Nice hotel, fantastic breakfast buffet

Posted Mar 30, 2014
Pros: The pool and the breakfast buffet
Cons: Improve the room decor, it looks a bit dated.
Location: Nothing much in the immediate vicinity but in Siem Reap town nothing is too far either.
Nice hotel and facilities, fantastic breakfast buffet. The rooms are a bit dated though still in a good condition. The staff go out of their way to accommodate guest requests. However do not ever go for their evening BBQ dinners or the a la carte dinner, its very expensive considering the going rate in Siem Reap for the food of similar quality. I recommend you better take a TukTuk to the pub street and have your dinner there. Its well worth the commute. Internet connection works very well from the room and at anywhere within the hotel vicinity and is complimentary. The pool and the surrounding areas are beautiful.

Very nice

Posted Mar 26, 2014
Pros: The staff was very friendly and helpful.
Cons: The spa. They really didn't have one. They converted a hotel room with 2 massage beds and 2 chairs for foot massage. When I saw it I decided to leave.
We got the flu on arrival but still had a great time. We pushed ourselves to go and see the wats, waterfalls, and floating village. Was a very exhausting time but to have a nice room the retreat to was very good.

Superb service and beautiful resort

Posted Mar 22, 2014
Pros: Personal service... again, the managers Simon, Louem, Lim, Sok, and others made my stay just perfect... They have great communication skills...
I stayed at Lotus Blanc Resort from March 9-11, and then from March 15-20. It is beyond my expectation in many aspects. The suite I stayed in was very spacious with all modern amenities. The breakfast included in the package was superb with a wide variety of foods, and my favourite was their freshly made waffles with shredded coconuts. Service was the best I had ever received, of the many hotels I had stayed in. The staff were so courteous, helpful, and friendly. They remembered my name and got to know me personally. If I needed something, they would always go out of their way to help me. For example, my bag was broken, and one of the staff named Thary asked laundry service to sew it back for me. The spa had a very relaxing ambience. The message therapists were all providing excellent service. They were all very accommodating, and happy to tailor the service to what suited me. Restaurant staff were highly trained to make their guests feel special, such as: a small gesture to pull out chairs for guests. Very special thanks to the managers Louem, Simon, and Lim, who went out of their way to make my trip special. They arranged and accompanied me to a nearby temple for a visit, as well as escorted me to the airport in the private air-conditioned hotel car, amongst many other special things they had done for guests free of charge... All staff were genuinely nice, and made sure I had a good stay and a great holiday. Staff were fluent in several languages.

Relax in Siem Reap

Posted Mar 21, 2014
Five star service started with the airport pick up. From there on we enjoyed the private check in, refreshing coconut welcome drink and a room ready to settle down. We arrived at 10:00am, the hotel had arranged that our room was ready, even official check in time is 2:00pm. The hotel staff was extremely friendly and helpful. We got all our sight seeing trips scheduled within a few minutes. The breakfast buffet is extensive and very delicious. The restaurant staff are very attentive. We had lunch at the pool and twice in the restaurant. It was delicious and very tasty. On departure day we could keep our room until 3:00 pm without any problems and enjoyed the free lino service to the airport.

Lotus Blanc is an Oasis of Calm.

Posted Mar 17, 2014
Pros: Nothing there to dislike.
Location: The location suited us perfectly as we were a bit removed from the major areas of bustle but were still close enough to easily access all the sights.
The minute we arrived the staff greeted us with welcoming smiles and a cold drink. The service and attention throughout our stay were excellent. The restaurant was great. The food at the breakfast buffet was varied and delicious. The other meals we enjoyed there were equally delicious and served with a friendly smile. The treatments we had at the spa were among the best I have ever had and I am a connoisseur. The coconut rub was amazing. The pool was a welcome sight after a day of sightseeing and if we ever return to Siem Reap we will definitely stay at the Lotus Blanc. One thing that stands out regarding our visit is the driver Lotus Blanc assigned to us for our touring. Amatak Hout was beyond all expectation. He assisted me at all times (I have a wheelchair) with kindness and consideration. His English is super so we could easily discuss what we wanted to see and by the time we left Lotus Blanc we felt we had made a new friend.

Nice place for Angkor Wat

Posted Mar 16, 2014
Location: Angkor Wat, Andkor Thom, Kulen Mountain, Bamteay Srei Temple, Kbal Spean Eat and drink in Old Market and Pub Street in Siem Riep.
Rooms were large and very comfortable. The breakfast (included with the room rate) was amazing, with both Western and Asian selections. The staff was very friendly and helpful in providing information about the sights around Siem Riep (the main ones being Angkor Wat and Angkor Thom) and in arranging for transportation. We were there from March 9 - March 15 which is off-season and therefore not very crowded. Be prepared to handle heat and humidity (both in the 90's). The temples require quite a lot of walking and climbing (stairs). A fabulous trip well worth taking. Cambodians are friendly and hospitable people.

Excellent Hotel near to Angkor Wat

Posted Mar 11, 2014
When we arrived at Lotus Blanc after being collected from the airport by their car and driver, we were delighted to find that they had kindly upgraded our room to a suite which was just lovely. I telephoned the hotel prior to our arrival and spoke with Laura who was so kind and helpful. ALL of the staff at this hotel are quite amazing; just nothing is too much trouble for any of them. We were also very impressed by the way that they all speak English which made it so much easier to communicate with them. Because they were all so very friendly and engaging it is extremely difficult to single out individual members of staff, but we would really like to commend Tola who was always so very attentive at the pool and was keen to inform us of the culture of the Cambodian people. We greatly enjoyed and appreciated his input to our very successful stay at Lotus Blanc. In the dining room Sonita, George and Sreylin were all just delightful and helpful at all times, as was Sothy the Manager of Food and Beverage who kindly arranged a super evening meal at the Privilege Floor Hotel together with car and driver there and back. Our whole stay at Lotus Blanc was truly memorable but surely will the members of staff forever remain within our hearts of what Cambodia is all about. The management of this Hotel must be congratulated for the dedication of all the staff who are such a credit and an asset to their organisation. Thank you for taking such good care of us during our 8 days.
