Very nice fairly new boutique hotel. Rooms clean, spacious, comfortable and well equipped. Staff friendly and helpful. Nice pool for a quick cool off and a relax on the lounger. Pool side bar and restaurant serving reasonable food. Only slight downside is that it is located off the main streets some 20 minutes walk from the center of Siem Reap. This is fine to walk in daylight but really needs a tuk-tuk back in the dark. Overall a very enjoyable stay and was good value for the room rate - would recommend.

We stayed here for a couple of days, while visiting Siem Reap for the Angkor half marathon. It's a very nice hotel, not too big, friendly and very helpful owners, great place to hang around and enjoy the pool. The room is comfortable and well done, the bed is fantastic. We also enjoyed the breakfast, with a lot of choice and you can have it any time of the day. Walking to Siem Reap centre takes around 10', so you're not far, while the Rumahmu is in a very quite and peaceful side street with hardly any traffic.

I chose V&A based on Trip Advisor reviews. Andy and Valek run a terrific hotel where you simply cannot feel lonely. The atmosphere in the bar/sitting area is just second to none, it is a great place to relax and chat to Cambodians and travellers alike.
My initial enquiries upon booking were swiftly answered and as promised the complementary V&A Tuk Tuk was there to meet me from my flight, Andy was on hand straight away to explain all the local know-how and answer my questions. I booked a great room (the biggest one!) which was brilliant. Andy arranged me the 'small loop tour' and the trip to floating village. I would be very sad if I did not get to return.

The Shining Angkor hotel is lovely. Has the feel of Cambodia, clean, ornate and comfortable. It is located at the edge of town so the traffic noise is minimal at night. It is only a 5 minute tuktuk ride to the other side of the city and market area.
We really enjoyed staying at the Shining Angkor Hotel. I highly recommend it, For the price it is a great value.
The breakfast is good, you can choose different fixed combinations of American style breakfast food from the menu.

I loved my stay at Bou Savy it just a short walk away from all the action and tucked away behind palm trees in an alley next to a temple but the building is actually very large, modern in a Khmer village style. I found the staff really pleasant, the room very comfortable and VERY cheap. I wasn't able to extend my stay with them as they were booked for the days following my initial booking and tried two different places of similar price range and Bou Savy was far superior in terms of comfort, staff performance (one of the owner or manager women speaks french also and is very nice) and food. I actually came back in the days following my check out to sit in their nice yard. Highly recommended
