Beautiful hotel with REAL Asian charm & service.

Posted Sep 30, 2014
Pros: Great ambience. Staff taking care of the little things & seeing to the details. Loved the little gifts at our bedside each night. Exceptional service!
Cons: An addition of a few more western or French dishes on the dinner menu would be appreciated.
Location: The location is fantastic: short ride from the airport & major sites. Some things within walking distance. City sites & shopping a tuk tuk ride away.
We had a lovely 3 nights stay at the Victoria Angkor Resort & Spa. Our suite was breathtaking; beautifully appointed with Asian decor, spacious and comfortable. Our experience began before we arrived. I had contacted the hotel in order to arrange a car and driver and a tour guide. The hotel's concierge was prompt and helpful in getting back to us. Our anticipation of our stay was heightened because we felt that we would be taken care of as per our requests. We were NOT disappointed. A car and driver picked us up and though we arrived late in the evening, the concierge was on hand to go over our requests and expectations. Our visit to Angkor Thom & Angkor Wat was well orchestrated and tailored to our needs; an unforgettable experience. The services at the hotel were exceptional. Excellent bar; great exotic drinks and fabulous bar food. The buffet breakfast was inclusive of both Asian and western foods. It was a phenomenal experience. The pool was refreshing and inviting and the attendant welcoming and attentive to our needs. Both he and the concierge are great examples of Cambodian hospitality and service. The spa offered wonderful services which my wife thoroughly enjoyed. We had a beautiful little vacation within a vacation, by spending some time taking in and enjoying the ambience, facilities and services at the hotel. ALL staff at the hotel were friendly and helpful, and helped to make our visit a wonderful experience that we will always remember.

Great hotel. Great location.

Pros: Location. Tranquil setting even though very central to everything. Pool is excellent. Staff are attentive.
Cons: Not much. A couple of things were a little bit rough around the edges to make it five star, otherwise hard to criticise.
Location: It's five minutes tuk tuk from the Siem Reap night life and located next to Royal Gardens. Angkor Wat is a fairly short journey away too.
Beautiful colonial-era style hotel perfectly located in wonderful Siem Reap.

First class hotel with charm and great staff.

Posted Sep 13, 2014
Pros: The tranquil feeling throughout the property.
Location: Most things a five minute tuk tuk ride away. The Angkor museum was around the corner and worth a visit.
From reception through to each detail it was superb. Requests were met with almost instant fulfilment. After a disappointing stay at a 5 star international brand this was a breath of fresh air.

Excellent, upon arrival we were upgraded from a deluxe room to the Ming Suite! Big, spacious and royal-like! Everything from the breakfast to the location is very good. Highly recommended.

Great service, beautiful hotel, amazing food, particularly the buffet breakfast included. Loved the pool and bar. Couldn't have been a better place to stay in Siem Reap. Staff could not have been friendlier. This is a happy place.
