Pros: The vaulted ceilings and the period piece furnishings
Cons: no eggs at breakfast
Location: 200 yards from the campo on a great quiet street with easy access and valet parking
Excellent location within 200 yards of the Campo and the staff was fantastic.

Beautiful hotel, beautiful room, great staff. Only criticism is the restaurant, very limited and disappointing menu. Breakfast was inconsistent too. Perfect location, within easy walking of historical sites and shopping in the old city. I would highly recommend.

The hotel is beautiful. Frescos and vaulted ceilings. Central location. The staff are very accommodating and friendly, and the service superb.

Pros: The wine bar with the impressive clock; my large room with high ceiling
Cons: The food at dinner was mediocre. Plenty of nicer restaurants in Sienna., Thebreakfast selection was excellent though.
Location: centre of old town. Could not be better located.
The building is impressive. The rooms are individual and well appointed.I would not recommend for families with young children. My sister and I used it as a base for a cultural/shopping trip & thoroughly enjoyed our sty.

Pros: Staff, location, overall accomodations
Cons: No air conditioning despite the warm temperature
Location: Excellent
The temperature was warm, yet there was no air conditioning as it had been turned off for the season. Otherwise everything was terrific.

My husband and I had a fabulous time in Siena. The staff at the front desk were particularly helpful - especially one lady with short hair. We would definitely recommend the Grand Hotel Continential to others. Thank you.
