“Great stay in Siena, Italy”

Hotel Italia was a great choice for staying in Siena, Italy. Located just a couple blocks outside the main entrance to the old walled city, we were comfortable and very satisfied. Breakfast was lovely with many choices, both hot and cold. Staff was very friendly, helpful and professional. They made us feel like honored guests. As European rooms go, the superior rooms we selected were more than ample with sofa, comfortable bed and large bathroom with both tub and shower. Though on a busy street, with the door to balcony and windows closed, it was very quiet. We would definitely stay here again!

“Very Nice”

Room was lovely and clean, staff was very helpful. Really nice breakfast buffet - lots of selections. A couple of blocks from Historic Old Town Siena - easy walk. Staff is also very helpful with booking of local wine tours.

“Wonderful”

The hotel is wonderful. The beds were very comfortable and the place was spotless. The batroom was very roomy for eurpoean standards. The buffe breakfast was one of the best we had during our trip, full of choices. The distance to the center of town is not bad either, the walk is very nice.

“Great service!”

We had a wonderful time at Hotel Italia. The rooms were spacious and clean and it was only a 15 minute walk to the piazza. The service was fantastic. The staff was friendly. They gave us great restaurant recommendations and recommendations to wineries in the chianti region. They even made us breakfast early when we had to depart before the scheduled breakfast time! I'd recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Siena.

“A very pleasant surprise”

Expedia rated this hotel as two stars, so we expected a rather modest hotel. While the entrance was modest, the rooms (our son accompanied us and was delighted to have an adjoinging room or his own) were spacious, meticulous and airy (we had a balcony with a nice view -- great for drying our laundry!). Very nice balcony. Nice selection of food for breakfast. Parking was included and very convenient. The walled city entrance was a pleasant 300 yard walk with a bakery and couple of restaurants we ate at that the hotel recommended. Excellent value hotel. Though nothing fancy, this was our favorite hotel room in Italy.

Everything about our stay was perfect! The two rooms were beautifully decorated and very clean and comfortable. The service was outstanding - the front desk was helpful and friendly. Highly recommended for a Siena stay!

“Roomy for Italy!”

This Hotel is conveniently located at the beginning gate area of the old town. Easy access on and off of the autostrada with plenty of signs guiding your way. Look for them as is anything in Italy are small and slightly hidden. Room was very large compared to all the others we have stayed in at this price rate across Italy. Shower especially was a very large size. Breakfast served most the morning was normal fare for the region and light but satisfying. Staff was VERY good. They were welcoming and answered many questions for us and ensured our laundry was done in time to get out early the next morning. Very sweet staff!!!!! One of the best stays we had in Italy hotel-wise!!!

“Great Hotel.”

Really nice, highly recommended. They didn't necessarily like backpackers, but the hotel was great!! Not too far from the train station, a little bit of a walk to the center of town. Nice breakfast in the morning.

“Simply wonderful”

This hotel accomplish my expectations. I went with my wife and everting was so perfect. There are just one issue but is regarding the location not the hotel itself. I almost impossible to take a taxi from the train station to the hotel. The bathroom is not nice, the bedroom so confortable, nothing about luxory but italy itself. The elevator is an issue as well, so small! but you can live without it.
