Wonderful B and B in the heart of Tuscany

Posted Jun 16, 2014
Pros: The area, the hospitality, the family involvement - everything!
Cons: Can' think of anything except a kettle would have been nice.
Location: Situated less than 1 km from one of the most beautiful villages in Tuscany there was so much to do - trips to the Chianti area, other lovely villages.
We booked for 4 days but so enjoyed our stay we stayed an extra night. The surroundings are magnificent, and the family's hospitality, generosity and care, and their wonderful breakfasts were amazing. We will definitely go back.

Perfect location for relaxing

Pros: Everything
Cons: Nothing I can think of
Location: A short walk from the beautiful town of San Gimignano.
We had a perfect stay. The B&B is in a beautiful location with panoramic views of the Tuscan countryside and a spacious terrace outside the room. The room was very comfortable and clean and Anna and her family were very hospitable. The breakfasts were excellent with freshly made coffee.and eggs. We hope to return some day.

Pros: Everything, but the view was absolutely amazing.
Location: It is very handy to the centre of the town with all the shops, restaurants and beautiful things to see there.
We have stayed in 3 B & Bs in San Gimignano and even though all were good this one was the best. The service was friendly and welcoming even though we didn't speak Italian. The room was very spacious with an incredible view of the Tuscan countryside and the breakfast was one of the best we have had with incredible choice. It was just a five minute walk to the inside of the walled town. The car parking was one of the best we have encountered with plenty of room. I would definitely stay here again. Incredible!

The view is spectacular

Pros: The best view & the breakfast
Location: Only five minutes walk to the city
Wish we could stay longer for the stunning view and the beautiful old city. There are a lot of good restaurants surrounded this wall city. Good shopping even though it is very tourist focused.

Great view and breakfast

When we arrived we were blown away by the welcome from Anna and the view. The room was great especially having a self catering facility as well. The breakfasts were outstanding and the short walk to San Gigminano was interesting.

Pros: Good breakfast. Good location to access town.
Cons: Service. Shower was small. A lot of "no" doing this.
Location: nice view.
Good breakfast. Good location to access town, which is the best thing about this place. Based on other reviews we thought owners would be more helpful. Found them ok but not nearly as accommodating or helpful with suggestions as elsewhere in Italy.
