Great value for such an amazing location. Rooms are basic but we had 3 in the room and weren't crowded which is amazing for where you are. Service was very friendly and parking was easy. Park at the door, drop the bags and then drive back down to the free parking and enjoy the walk into town.

stop over on way to FlorencePosted May 27, 2014 on Hotels.com
Gracious host. We were offered espresso on arrival from her new Nespresso machine. She gave us recommendations to some sights and places to eat. Good restaurants that were quality and with good prices. The rooms were small but so cute and very clean. Not a big deal for us as we only slept there. We always travel with ear plugs and used them. Two flights of stairs without an elevator. We would recommend this hotel. Great location in the heart of the area.

Picture is misleadingPosted May 16, 2014 on Hotels.com
The building in the picture is the building across the street from this hotel (so it is actually the view from your window).. The office is up one flight of stairs and the rooms are a floor above that. The room itself was clean but very small. Just room for the bed and a small table. The bathroom was tiny. The room overlooked a small plaza that was a taxi stand. With that said, it was in central Siena so there were lots of shops, restaurants, etc. nearby, and a short walk to the main sights. OK for an overnight stay.

Decent price and close to the Piazza del Campo.Posted Mar 17, 2014
We booked La Perla at the last minute, as we had stayed in the hotel before and were comfortable with the location, etc. La Perla is one street way from the main square in the city - Piazza del Campo - with a pleasing staff and is close to all of the action in Siena. If you are looking for lots of amenities, no stairs, an American style bathroom, etc., then this is not the hotel for you. However, if you are looking for a reasonably priced hotel that is close to the center of the city and the sites, then it is a good choice. The rooms are relatively spartan, but when we travel we are interested in the city and the sites, not spending time in the room other than to sleep. The quadruple room faces the street, which can be good (fun views) and bad (noise in the evening), but we would stay there again given the price and location.

The location is perfect. Very small bathroom. It is like taking a shower on top of the toilette. Not very well maintained.

Close to Everything!Posted Oct 17, 2013 on Hotels.com
My husband and I enjoyed our stay at Hotel La Perla while on our honeymoon; the staff was extremely helpful and considerate, they let us keep our luggage there until our next place was ready so we wouldn't have to lug it around Siena. I should've paid more attention to the email from the staff because they suggested taking a taxi from the train station, so needless to say we got a cheap bus tour of all of Siena! The location is great because it's so central to everything! The room was accommodating for us because we just needed somewhere to leave our luggage, get cleaned up-the bathroom was quite small but it was private and it worked for us!

Great place to stay in an excellent location. Front of hotel does get some noise from the street but that's because it is right in the middle of things.
