Fabulous!Posted Jul 1, 2014
Pros: Fantastic location, great service, spacious and clean accommodation.
Location: Near the main square, shopping street, wine tasting and enjoying a meal on the terrace!
We had a fantastic 2 night stay in this wonderfully quaint place. We were given a 3 room apartment which had a spacious living room with high ceilings, an adequate kitchen and although rooms were small, they were cosy and comfortable. Being a 14th century building (as we were told by the animated and friendly Francesco), there was no lift and we had to climb a few flights of stairs. Location is fantastic and the views from the restaurant's terrace is breathtaking. Although the only family member who could speak English was Francesco, we were welcomed warmly by family members who made us feel at home.

Great Tuscany FeelPosted Apr 2, 2014 on Hotels.com
The room was great, right off the piazza and the furnishings fit it nicely, plenty of room to spread out and very clean, beautiful place.

Nicely located B&B with parking and great views !Posted Oct 14, 2013
Pros: friendly service, amazing views, free parking
Cons: softer beds
Location: highly recommend driving to other towns along the Val D'Orcia such as pienza, and montelcino. i think it's the most beautiful part of tuscany!
Located just near the Duomo, we had a great 2 night stay at Osteria del Borgo. We had a huge room on the 3rd floor which had fantastic views of Montepulciano from the adjoining sitting room. The staff were super friendly and helpful. We had trouble finding the BnB at first (even though its centrally located) but a quick phone call solved that! The parking is free, easy to find and only a short 50-100m walk. Breakfast consisted of the usual pastries and cakes, and a plate of ham. There isn't a huge number of restaurants near the Duomo but its a small town so everything is walkable (but with all hilltop towns, you will run into steep stairs\hills). Given the location, parking, quality of the room we thought it was good value for money and would highly recommend. The only downside was our bathroom was a separate room to our bedroom, it was still private but a little annoying having to leave the room to use the facilities. The bed was pretty hard and creaked a bit when sleeping but that's been true at pretty much all BnBs we stayed at in Italy.

A pleasantly surprising stayPosted Jun 14, 2013 on Hotels.com
We booked a room for two nights this May and were pleasantly suprised to get a suite instead of just a room. We had a wonderful view from our window and our room included a bedroom, bathroom, living room and kitchen. We did have to walk up and down the stairs with our luggage but given all we got for a reasonable price, it was definitely worth it. Not sure if it is standard but the maid service did not come in the next day.

Great Stay at Osteria del BorgoPosted Nov 21, 2012 on Hotels.com
We loved the hotel and its location in Montepulciano. The family that runs the hotel and restaurant made us feel welcome and comfortable from the moment we arrived. From getting us set up in our wonderful room (the views are terrific), to recommending a great bottle of wine and even setting us up with transportation to a local winery and to the train station. You won't go wrong with a stay at Osteria del Borgo!
