Nice place, but can't give it a 5Posted Sep 21, 2013
Poggio Pigglia is a very nice getaway location. Close to Montipulciano and Cortona.. but for the price, some things just don't sit well with me.. Absolutely no water available, come on? only meals at their restaurant are available and allowed.. and they charge a cover just for sitting there? and very limited times.. Beautiful pool, but you can't get or take drinks there? a shame.. When in Tuscany, it is nice to enjoy some of the wine you just purchased, but here this is not allowed? and only wine allowed in Restaurant is purchased from them.. Again.. Nice place, very relaxing, beautiful grounds.. stuck in rules.. thus 4 out of 5 for me..

EXCELLENT HOTELPosted Jun 4, 2013
We loved the hotel, first the entrance of the hotel is like a movie in the Tuscany, a road with a vineyard and cypress. The hotel is very nice and the staff is very friendly. It has a pool with excellent views.

WOW! This hotel is probably the nicest and most comfy hotel I have ever stay at! The rooms are spacious and have a fantastic bathroom with travertine all over, huge rain showers and a jacuzzi. Views from the room where amazing. The restaurant was GREAT for both breakfast (best we had in Italy), lunch and dinner. The chef was apart from being a great chef a very nice person! The views from the terrace and especially the beautiful beautiful pool are absolutely stunning! Pure relaxation! Definitely coming back!
