“A jem in Chianti”

Great quiet place, do not worry when arriving down a step gravel 1 lane road, once there, it is an ideal location. You will need to use your car since you are approx. 5 km north of Castellina in Chianti. Restaurent was good but a little expensive. Room was large and clean, we were in the main building facing the back side of the resort. Very quiet, wke-up in the morning by singing birds, this resort is in the middle of a lush forest. Only negative, with its great location, it is sad that management was not able to put restaurent in location with view. Breakfast good but beware, only 'american' coffe is included, espresso, capuccino and latte will be charged to your room (staff did not mention this upon ordering). 2 pools with nice forest view. Overall great choice, strongly recommend it.
