Quiet escape to the country in a great location

Posted Aug 26, 2014 on Hotels.com
A great stay with a very informed owner. Carlo was always keen to help with advise on where to go and what to avoid. We visited on our motorcycle for 6 nights and I would advise other bikers to consider that the drive to the hotel is via a long dirtroad - No problem for me as I enjoy offroading as a hobby but others might see this as a challange when you do not have the right bike or tires ... A great pool and quiet surroundings with wine and olive trees in this old vinjard. Central to all you need to see in Tuscany (as long as you have transport)

Nice Villa

Posted Jul 14, 2014
Cons: Internet Access
Location: San Gimignano is the best place in Tuscany to visit.
Nice place to stay, long dirt road to access the villa. No internet access despite what was advertised as "free wifi".
