“Clean and Quiet hotel”

America's Best Value in Bisbee was the cleanest place I've ever stayed! The place looks like a large motel and is located aways south of the main part of town ( maybe 6 minutes drive really) but inside the rooms were wonderful. Main room was large with 2 queen beds, room to walk around them , TV consul, end table with chairs and centered bed table. Small kitchen off the main room with table, chairs, microwave, fridge sink and cupboard. Bathroom was small with shower only and vanity with mirror & hair dryer is in alcove outside. Every thing was extremely clean, no dust bunnies in the corners, crumbs under the tables or streaks on the tile. A motorcycle club was also staying there also...we never heard them arrive only when they left in the morning and we had the door open. I would definitly recommend for anyone staying a few days or longer in Bisbee.

Area recommendations
THE attraction for Bisbee is the "old town" area with quaint victorian buildings and gorgeous scenery. But be aware the shops close at 5 or 6pm even on Saturdays during spring break! Hotels and bars are open of course and I was told that the ghost tours start around 9pm. But if you want to check out all of the antique shops get there early!
Must see
Don't miss the Queen mine tour. It was a working underground copper mine until 1975 and tours are given by the miners who worked underground. They will "dress" you in a yellow slicker and hardhat, heavy belt with battery pack for the flashlight you wear around your neck. Bring a light coat or sweater (nothing bulky) to wear underneath as it is very cold in the mine. And leave any purses or packs in the car, you want your hands free to hold on to the seat of the small train you ride into the mine. The entrance tunnel is very close but it opens up when you get to the stopes and air is fresh so my usual clostrophobia didn't kick in. There is one area with about 20 wooden stairs but if stairs are a problem you can wait at the bottom with the train. Takes about an hour and well worth the price paid...make reservations all of the tours were full when we got there.
