Just outside of Tombstone

Posted Apr 20, 2015
Pros: The breakfast was great. Having the option to order what you want made it very enjoyable. The waitress was wonderful!!
My son and I spent enjoyed staying just outside of Tombstone. Other than the occasional motorcycles coming and going, it was much quieter than staying in town. Very family Friendly. We did have clogged sink in our room, but overall it was pretty descent.

Loved the view! Plus, so close to everything, and the best included breakfast of any hotel. Just wish the pool was bigger.

Pros: Staff and Easy to find Breakfast was well served by friendly staff
Cons: Not much very nice place

A good base for exploring Tombstone. Easy to find well signposted and only a couple minutes outside Tombstone Extremely helpful staff.....even posted our postcards for us. A small hotel that packs a bigger punch.

Close to Tombstone; Needs Some Renovation

Posted Mar 13, 2015
Pros: Location, pleasant and helpful staff, breakfast, pet friendly
Cons: Overall, it needs some updating. Room was musty. CRT TV was old. Internet had multiple ports, but seemed slow. Bathroom facilities need updating.
Location: Tombstone is nearby, but Bisbee is the preferred site to visit. Close to Sierra Vista and Ft. Huachuca.
This hotel has a lovely location overlooking the chaparral, mountains, etc. of SE Arizona. Staff was very friendly. Cooked to order breakfast, albeit a limited menu, was a nice way to start the day. However, upon arrival we noted that the air in the room was terribly musty - improved as we moved in and out. Sink was too low. TV was woefully out of day (CRT) and Internet connection was slow. This is a pet-friendly hotel with poop bags provided, cookies in the lobby, and a moderate additional fee. Outside has gas-fired pits which provide ambience in the evening.

Best stay ever in Tombstone

Posted Mar 9, 2015
Pros: Views, firepits, staff
Cons: walking trail to town is very primitive
Location: It's TOMBSTONE - lots to do, Boot Hill and the Birdcage are must see's
We have traveled to Tombstone almost every February since 2008 and have stayed in places we came across during a visit and places referred by friends. We found the Lookout Lodge on Expedia and it is by far the best place in Tombstone. Great views, comfortable, clean rooms, fire pits, lots of outside seating to enjoy the view, fun and helpful staff. Bonus is having a real breakfast included in the room fee. Only downside is that the "easy" ten minute walk to downtown is not so much for the 60+ crowd and while we did enjoy a walk to our rooms in past visits, the Lookout Lodge is definitely worth having to drive a few minutes. I believe we have found our forever favorite in Tombstone.

This hotel is located only a short distance from Tombstone. It is older, but has been renovated and the room was charming and comfortable. Staff was very friendly and customer focused. Breakfast was included and great. I would definately recommend this hotel.

It wasn't bad for a over night stay...

Good: Nice view, quiet, close to the main area, & breakfast was good. Bad: very out dated old building.
