Great Hotel at a Great PricePosted Nov 18, 2013
Pros: Friendly staff, big room at a great price. Complementary breakfast.
Cons: Nothing really.....batteries in the TV remote is about it! :)
Location: The location was okay. I heard its not the best side of town, but I didn't see any homeless or any crime. Sierra Vista is a small town, not a big city.
I was traveling to Sierra Vista for my daughter's baby shower and was on a budget! The baby shower was already costing me a fortune so I needed a decent hotel at a decent price. I was very, very happy with the Rodeway Inn. I did a lot of research before booking and although it's not a 4 star hotel, the reviews seemed pretty decent. The reception staff was VERY FRIENDLY. They knew my name before I even said a word (late check-in). They accommodated us easily without asking when I told them my pregnant daughter was staying with me by giving me a first floor room. They offered bedding for the sofa bed, and I just felt good about the place. The room was huge! It had a full kitchen, sofa, coffee table and a nice queen sized bed. The bathroom was clean and had plenty of towels. The room was very clean. They even had free Wi-Fi. In the morning they had a complementary breakfast, which wasn't more than bagels, danishes, juice and coffee, but it was free and I was appreciative. I'll be going back to Sierra Vista in February for the birth of my grandson, and I'll definitely book here again.

good place to stay when visitingPosted Sep 6, 2013 on Hotels.com
This room was a great deal for all that came with room. The room was right off base. Not so easy to find the first time. Shower wasn't that great until I replace showerhead, then was fine. Wish it had movie channels but all in all would stay there again.

FriendlyPosted Aug 21, 2013 on Hotels.com
The rooms were huge. I was there for business so I didn't use any extras. Did notice pool and hot tub could use maintenance but I didn't actually use them. Staff was super friendly which is always nice to experience when you are away from home.

Nicer than my first apartment!Posted Aug 18, 2013 on Hotels.com
This is less a motel than a small apartment, located in a residential area. We talked with a handful of other guests we ran into in the pool and rec area, and they were all staying long-term visiting family/friends at the Ft. Huachuca military base. The amenities were geared toward longer-term guests with families ... there's a BBQ area, pool, jacuzzi, movies to check out in the lobby, and most importantly, a full kitchen completely stocked with pots and pans and so forth. The bathroom is a little on the small side for more than two people, but I can easily see parking your family here for a week or two while visiting loved ones or checking out the sights. My one complaint about the kitchen is that the range hood doesn't ventilate outside the unit, so it was hard to get rid of the smell of breakfast burritos. :) This is a good value for the money, and worth checking out if you'd like to do your own cooking as you travel.

RodewayPosted Jul 12, 2013 on Hotels.com
Check in was easy stayed 4 nights. Didnt spend much time or swim in the pool. Neighborhood was off the main roads. Older part of town near the Army base. Inside was nice full size fridge and counter with bar stools. Coach folded out for bed. Bed was firm. Pillows too soft for my neck. All in all happy would recommend.

Surprised by the upkeep, furnished suite excellentPosted Jul 9, 2013
Pros: Most everything and I am particular about where I stay and the cleanliness.
Cons: Cleaning the bathroom floor a little better.
Location: Close to shopping, any kind of restaurants, Army Base which we came for. Movies, 4th of July fireworks at park was wonderful.
Never been to this motel before and really impressed by the furnishings and nice suite. Would stay there again if I went back. Liked the layout, good beds, convenient to everywhere. The bedroom was separate from the living area and the bath could be entered through the bedroom or off kitchen area, very convenient. Staff was very pleasant to work with and cleaning crew were very accommodating. This is a place you could stay for some time because it offers all the convenience of home. No breakfast but a full kitchen which we used to our advantage. Very close to the Army Base. Thank you will return one day. If they are any other places than in Sierra Vista , would like to know, will use them as my home away from home. Thank you!

the staff makes all the difference!Posted Jul 5, 2013 on Hotels.com
I stayed for a week. The room was clean and very spacious. The furniture was new and very comfortable. I used the kitchen every day. There was plenty of pots, plates and utensils and a full size refridgerator and stove. (I wish the knives were sharper.) We used the DVD player to watch a movie offered at the office. Great and friendly staff - Very responsive and accomodating! I would definitely stay there again!
