Even though it's an older hotel it is in good shapPosted Jan 24, 2015
The room was comfortable and well-maintained for an older hotel. The evening happy hour and dinner are a nice addition to the breakfast that is served.

Pleasant and hard working staffPosted Jan 12, 2015
Pros: Nice staff
Cons: Have an indoor pool
Location: Lots of restaurants, coffee shops, parks.
Staff is extremely pleasant and works very hard to please. Enjoyed the clean rooms, nice decor, and delicious free breakfast. Bravo drury.

Old facility, full pricePosted Dec 8, 2014
Cons: Price shouldn't be same as in new hotels.
Location: Lots of shopping and food options near.
Booked based on previous stays in Drury hotels. Lobby is wonderful and fancy. Our room located in detached part, so we had to walk outside to get to lobby or eat. It was unpleasant surprise. Room was clean, but small and old, carpet old. Evening food was ok. Breakfast was good. Overall, I didn't feel that this stay worth $114 in small town. Definitely, didn't feel same as what impression I had with Drury before. Nothing to do with staff. They did very good job. Next time I would try different hotel.

Great experience on a road trip with a pet.Posted Dec 2, 2014
Pros: Greeting when I arrived. Popcorn for the kids. Large open space for breakfast. Larger than expected rooms. Warm and lodge-like feel.
Cons: Signage coming off interstate. View from back side was discouraging.
We were driving 14 hours and broke the trip up half way at the Drury Lodge. I was welcomed at 8pm by a very cordial and welcoming front desk person. After doing the check-in paperwork (when she discovered I had 8 & 10 year-old boys) invited me to get popcorn for them. I returned after stowing our belongings to get popcorn and she offered complimentary soft drinks too. Great first impressions! The next AM had a better-than-expected complimentary breakfast in a large dining area. It wasn't the tiny/busy little place that you get at Hampton Inn/Holiday Inn Express, etc. A full dining area, with a large selection of warm and cold choices. Coffee was very good too! We had a dog as well, and didn't have the normal sounds of dogs in other rooms, etc. We had plenty of square footage to move about in the room as well. Large than most overnight stay hotels.

Great StayPosted Nov 25, 2014
Pros: Cleanliness, updated features, nice layout
The breakfast was excellent! Best one we've had that was included in any hotel stay. The free three drink happy hour is nice. Be sure to check the time on the card given when you check in so you can participate. The room was very clean. We will definitely stay at Drury Lodge again when we are at Cape. Hotel location was conveniently located right next to Bob Evans.

Warm, cozy, and felt like home!Posted Nov 24, 2014
Pros: EVERYTHING! I can't think of a single thing that I didn't like.
Location: The city itself is relatively small, but this hotel is in the heart of it. Target, Walmart, a nice mall, restaurants...very convenient.
I booked online, and like most people, took a chance on a hotel I've never been to. It was GREAT! The outside is a little dated, but the inside more than makes up for it! Warm fireplace and beautiful, rustic-style lobby. The staff was very friendly (even moved me to an inside room just to make my stay easier). Room was very clean, modern, plenty of charging for my devices. The bed was VERY comfortable, and I loved the pillows! I will return to very soon, and will stay again

About what I expectedPosted Nov 3, 2014
Pros: Friendly and helpful staff, breakfast was good.
Cons: Bathroom was a little small
Location: Close to the highway and many food options nearby
Easy to get to, right by the highway. Nice breakfast, room was clean. Liked the free drink and popcorn during the evening. Hotel was a little dated from the outside but the interior had been redone nicely. Would stay there again.

I will probably not visit againPosted Oct 29, 2014 on Hotels.com
We were on the ground floor. When I looked at the walkway above us it was crumbling. The concrete was separated and cracked. Someone had gone through and put steel plates to support the walkway as well as steel support beams. As people walked above it sounded like it was going to fall in because it vibrated the entire area. The room smelled terribly. The refrigerator was frosted over and would not cool. The staff was very pleasant and helpful. The front part of the building was very nice. Should have stayed in that part.
