Pros: The hot tub and pool were lovely. The rooms were very quiet and private.
Cons: The bed was a little too soft and sagged a little, but still got a good nights sleep! The jets in the hot tub were not very strong.
A lovely, quiet facility. The room felt more like a private cottage than a hotel.

Beautiful Garden!Posted Jul 22, 2014
Pros: View, atmosphere, staff and the garden are all commendable.
Cons: Restraint food.
Location: Hiked at Silverton State Park. Breathtaking falls.
Very nice place. Gardens are beautiful. Staff helpful. Rooms clean and comfortable. AC was loud bit we had it cranked! Restaurant food was pricey but mediocre. Only thing I wasn't impressed with.

natural country setting.....Posted Jul 7, 2014
Pros: nature and swimming pool
Cons: friendliness from staff ( even the front staff acted like they could care less)
Location: falls/ gardens
My wife and I were threatened by the house keepers manager to check out by 11:00 or we were going to have to pay for another night. We were totally unaware of check out time being 1100Am , which is my responsibility to know, But we were just caught off guard by the NOT so happy house keeping manager. She came and found us at the swimming pool to tell us we had to leave. WE WILL NOT BE BACK!!!

Cons: Limited dinner menu
Excellent resort. Friendly personnel, easy to navigate, relaxing, and the gardens are marvelous. We took a walk after dinner and enjoyed the lusty bullfrog bellowing in the pond, the deer having their late night snack of roses, and the luxury of exploring without many people around.

Great rooms; Services not so much.Posted Jun 14, 2014
The facility and rooms were absolutely beautiful but the spa and restaurant were somewhat of a joke. Staff at the spa didn't seem eager to help. After seeing them on the computer prior to our lunch and returning after they said they didn't have anything open. When I looked around to find no one, she reluctantly took us back. The restaurant was very cute but again staff seemed very slow and not so eager to please. I will stay there again, but I will not be utilizing any other services on site.

Garden of Delights!Posted Jun 9, 2014
Pros: Rooms were sixplex cottages. Great staff.
Cons: These gardens are a work in progress, so watching the master plan develop will be interesting. I have no criticisms whatsoever.
Location: Near Silverton and Salem, so near Shreiners Iris Gardens and Adelman Peony Garden. The Willamette Valley is a Gardener's paradise.
We wanted a place to destress , away from hustle and bustle, but with all amenities. I'm a gardener and my husband an arborist. Did this garden fit the bill! Walking paths, hop on/hop off trolley, discreet little cafe and gift shop in centre of garden. 80 acres of different types of gardens. Great staff, good restaurant, lovely breakfast, all for really reasonable rate. We can't wait to go again.

We came to resort to visit the adjacent Oregon Garden. It was beautiful. It was a delightful bonus to find the resort has an excellent restaurant and lounge with live music. The rooms were clean, quiet, and comfortable. Absolutely delightful experience.

Excellent BargainPosted May 31, 2014
This hotel/resort was great: each room has a fireplace and a patio, it's very serene, they give you vouchers to get into the Oregon Gardens (on the property) free, the happy hour boasts $3 drinks, the outdoor pool is heated, the small breakfast buffet is included, and there is a lot of rambling space among beautiful plants for the kids. The little town of Silverton is lovely and Silver Falls is a short drive for a day trip. All in all, it was a perfect overnighter for our family from Portland.
