Nice place in a really nice location.

Posted Jan 20, 2015
Pros: Comfortable, relaxing place to stay. Friendly, quiet place to get away. The Spa is really nice.
Location: Good for shopping, movie going, fun restaurants, wineries and a brewery in town. Woodburn shopping close. Great place to get away with girlfriends.
Close to the city, yet remote enough to get away. Great place to relax after a day of shopping or visiting the many local wineries. Seven Brides Brewery is a great place for tasting and eating also. The Spa has really great services. In general a fun place to go with friends or on a romantic getaway.

Beautiful place to stay. I would highly recommend.

We were only able to stay one night, so we were not able to take advantage of the beautiful grounds and amenities. Would love to come back and stay longer. Loved the individual cottage style rooms. They have a spa feel. Breakfast was good and the main entry area and lounge were very welcoming. Staff were very nice.

Overall Excellent

Posted Dec 27, 2014
We very much enjoyed our stay. A few points 1. The entrance, arrows, and streets and parking lot is dark, hard to see. 2. The free breakfast was so bad we went to McDonald's the second day skipping the free breakfast. Holiday Inn has a better one. To be specific Scones were hard, Muffins old, potatoes with many blue spots, the bright spot was the sausages. It should not be called a buffet breakfast but rolls, and some eggs. As I said we enjoyed everything else, and would and will come back again, Rooms are very cute with nice balconies. Staff was great, bar was lots of fun, we stayed till closing on Christmas eve with the excellent country music, and bar food. Thanks to All Eric Munson

Nice hotel in nice setting

Posted Nov 20, 2014
Pros: Comfort - setting
Cons: Ice machines were not working.
Location: Oregon Gardens; Silver Creek State Park; Cultural events in nearby Salem
The room was clean and comfortable. The gas fireplace was a nice amenity on a cold November day. We enjoyed our short stay.

A True Get-A-Way

Posted Nov 18, 2014
Coming from Arizona, the November weather was COLD in Oregon. The electric fireplace in the room was the best to great us, and offered an instant place of warmth after walking the dog. Attention to detail in every way is what this place is about. The breakfast was top notch, and the service personnel were always present and pleasant. Now about the road signs.... Oregon is not an easy place to get around if you are new to the area. GPS took us to a sign that read, "Private Road, This is NOT Oregon Garden Resort" Ahhh,,, but that's what memories are made of, and we had a good laugh. We wondered around until we finally saw the brown Oregon Garden sign (on the post that we had passed a couple times, only this time we got to see it straight ahead of us instead of to our side, at the very top of the post, in the dark and foggy night.. ) and all was well.

Great Service at Oregon Gardens

Posted Nov 17, 2014
We really appreciated the service at Oregon Gardens. Our advance two day registration was ready for us when we arrived. Our room was very clean and the gas fireplace was great. The buffet breakfast provided a nice assortment of food and the hostess was very pleasant. We also had lunch and dinner at the restaurant with great service and great food.
