Simcoe is located approximately 290 miles (467 kilometers) from Ottawa, the capital of Canada, and about 65 miles (105 kilometers) from Niagara Falls.
Of course, limiting yourself to only one place, no matter how popular, usually only offers you a limited view into the wider qualities of a region. So try to set aside some time to discover Southwestern Ontario's other natural and man-made attractions. Brantford and Tillsonburg are two other places worth visiting while you're in Southwestern Ontario.

McMaster University, Liuna Gardens Banquet and Convention Centre and Wild Waterworks are a number of other attractions worth investigating for those who would like to spend a while longer there.
Go to Southwestern Ontario's art museums and history museums. These are excellent spots to hang out, especially when the weather is a little moody.
Southwestern Ontario offer some fun outdoor options for energetic visitors who love water. Boating and rafting are just two of the popular water-based activities here. Head outdoors and get amongst the adventures in the area around Simcoe. Try your hand at mountain biking or give zip-lining a try.
For those who plan on traveling by plane, it's handy to remember that the closest major airport is John C. Munro Hamilton International Airport, 30 miles (48 kilometers) to the northeast of Simcoe.
