feeling patrioticPosted Jul 31, 2015
Pros: as above
Cons: the toilet bowl needs upgrading.
Location: as above.
The area is so peaceful. It was very accessible to restaurants, gasoline stations and department stores (thanks to technology=) ). Accessible to the highway. It was not that far from the Reagan Presidential Library . which was the purpose of this trip. It was also not that far from the beaches of Malibu ( gorgeous weather, beautiful beaches, I would love to come back). The hotel may need upgrading but overall it was a comfortable stay for my family.

FRONT DESK CONFUSION - SHODDY ROOMSPosted Jul 22, 2015
Was checking into the hotel just befor a wedding. Arrived at 3pm... first we were sent to a room that was not ready, no sheets on the bed, trash on the floor, dirty towels in the bathroom. Then we were told we would have to wait an hour for a clean room... I told them this was not acceptable because we needed a place to change for the wedding which was happening in an hour. They told us they had a full hotel the night before and that is why they were so far behind... I told them that if they used their profits to pay for more cleaning staff then their customers would not have to suffer. 15 minutes later they got us into a room that was generaly clean... but the furniture was worn looking and scratched... and some of the bathroom tiles were broken, chipped or missing. Finally, on check out they automatically charged my credit card for a room night - even though I was already pre-paid on Expedia! Really???

Visiting FamilyPosted Jul 21, 2015
We stayed in simi valley because we were visiting family that lived in the area. There are not a lot of hotels to choose from and they are all older and three star hotels. I would stay here again because the room was pretty clean, comfortable and easy access to the freeway.

Nice facilityPosted Jul 21, 2015
Pros: Very attractive facility, good location off of beaten track.
Cons: Make sure rooms are cleaned and get rid of stained furniture.
Location: Good location, easy to get to and close, driving, to freeway and other attractions, restaurants, freeway.
Nice facility but the room should have been cleaner. When we checked in, found some things on floor and sofa was stained. On second day, found some items still on floor and house keeping did not replace empty tissue box in bathroom. TV Room was spacious and comfortable other than should have been cleaner.

Not close to magic mountainPosted Jul 17, 2015
Pros: Nice lobby, pool
Cons: The halls were dingy, staff was not welcoming at first, gave us an occupied room
Location: Nowhere near Valencia (magic mountain) as was listed. By a nice mall.
Expedia listed this hotel in list for Valencia, but actually is 30 minutes away

Hotel needs some helpPosted Jul 16, 2015
Expedia states there is a free breakfast, but if you book with Expedia you have to pay $10 per person. Also the hallways are poorly lit. The mattresses are very springy in that you actually feel the springs when you lie down. I had to prove that my breakfast was supposed to be free before they would give it to me but stated that for future reference when you book with Expedia the breakfast has a charge.

The accomodations were more in line of a motel 6,Posted Jul 15, 2015
Cons: The restaurant prices were sky high for food that did not look at all appelaing to any of the four of us that stayed there.
Location: We spent the day at the Reagan Library. Fantastic experience.
It started out rough, but the manager, Adi (sp) finally came through.
