I really liked my stay at the La Quinta the staff was really friendly and helpful. My room was clean, and it was also very quiet. The bed was comfortable also. I really enjoyed my stay and it would recommend it.

Underwellming

Pros: Nothing
Cons: Over priced for area ended up staying in area a second night out of necessity and moved to Marriot Court Yard for about same price and much nicer.
Location: Went to area for scheduled out patient surgery.
Dirty stained out side corridors . Lots of construction workers staying/living there. Someone sitting on main stairs reading and drinking from brown bag many hours. Room carpet in need of cleaning. Breakfast buffet bland and limited.

They were over an hour late with out check-in but we had friends that were already in their room so we made it work. The rooms were clean and the Jacuzzi was great for a late night dip.

Paid for and booked Non-smoking room. The room reeked of cigarettes and there were cigarette burns on the night stand and carpet. The halls and walkways were filthy with dirt, cigarette butts and trash.

Wet carpet...yuck..

We got to the hotel, they checked us in, but once we got up to our room we noticed a horrible smell (wet yucky smell) did not think much of it but once we walked without our shoes the carpet was WET!!! our socks got really filthy. We went to the front lobby asked to be moved to another room and they wanted to put us in a smoking room, we did not want it, we told them that is very bad customer service and that they needed to be more clean in the room before bringing more guest into this hotel. They really did not seem to care. I would never stay at this hotel! We ended up going to another hotel.

Smoking Room

The hotel staff was nice but we were given a smoking room when our reservation was confirmed for non smoking. It was not unbearable but if we had any option, we would have left.

Maintenance Required

We had a group of nine people staying in 3 rooms. Part of our group had to switch rooms when their toilet backed up with sewage that was not theirs. There was no maintainance staff after 5p.m. and the desk clerk didn't know what a plunger was. The room they were switched to , while being marked as a non-smoking room clearly smelled like cigarette smoke. Other things like loose shower curtain rods were also evident. Other than that the hotel staff was fairly helpful and accommodating, and the pool area was a definite plus.
