Best value for what we were looking for

Posted Apr 28, 2015
Pros: Clean decent sized rooms. Breakfast was good-not gourmet, but good in their selection.
We have stayed here several times while visiting our children. At one point, we thought we would upgrade to the "next level" of hotel chain and tried one of their suite hotels. Their rates are $30 more a night, and we felt La Quinta was better than that other hotel. So, we are sticking with La Quinta in Newbury Park.

one night stay with kids

Posted Apr 13, 2015
Pros: clean. quiet
Cons: nothing. It provided what I needed.
Location: We were just passing through. The facility is located close to several restaurants and with easy access to the freeway.
The rooms are clean and comfortable. Staff were nice enough to us, one lady never smiled. I don't know what her function was, but she was behind the desk and completely ignored me when I was in line. The desk clerk was very nice and friendly. I don't require much, just acknowledgment. I stated the staff were friendly because everyone else was very pleasant. The breakfast provided a variety of foods and was good. Overall, I would go there again.

Nice Hotel Near Newbury Park and 1000 Oaks

Posted Apr 13, 2015
Pros: Parking and room location was convenient. Beds were comfortable. Good breakfast. AC worked great, Bathroom was clean and nice.
Cons: Not really, maybe curtains that pull completely to the center so people cannot see through the sheer drapes when the lights are on.
Location: Excellent
Although I only slept and got ready to go there, it was a great room with a King sized bed. The entire experience was great.

Pros: Pet friendly, the room is clean and comfortable. Lots of selection for breakfast.
Cons: Building is good condition lots of vegetation in the area, nicely. Landscape and lots of parking space.
Location: Aesy access to 101 freeway going to Moorpark, Agoura hills, Simi Valley and to Camarillo, nice drive to the country side.
Enjoyed our stay in this hotel all amenities are close by, lot of restaurant and close to shopping area. It was a nice drive to Agouda hills and Santa Barbara, Ventura along the seaside.

Loud and Uncomfortable

Posted Feb 21, 2015 on Hotels.com
I will not knock the hotel staff, they were great. It was the hotel itself. They should make a concert hall here because the acoustics in this hotel are amazing. For the 4 nights my coworkers and I stayed here we could here running, yelling/screaming, the freeway, and the ice machine running all night. My favorite part was the 6am alarm that randomly went off waking everyone in the hotel up. If you are coming to this hotel looking for a breakfast and a good gym I would suggest otherwise. However if you are on a budget, this place will be okay.
