"Insensitive manager. "
The hotel couldn't find my reservation, but the receptionist made it happen. She called expedia and found me a room. The room was outdated, but it was clean & neat. I appreciated that. We went down to the pool ( nice size and clean) and couldn't find any towels, so I went to the front desk. As I was walking in from the pool area, someone was asking for some towels and the manager, without even looking at the guest, cut her off and quickly replied, "I'll get someone out there." His attitude bugged me, but I let it go. The next day, I went to the free breakfast and it was nice. Cereals, breads, fruits, yogurt...good variety. I asked a waiter and question and he answered it very nicely, with a smile and eye contact.
After breakfast, we got all our stuff ready & we went down stairs to check out. The lady in front of me in line approaches the manager. She waits patiently for the him to look up at her. Purposely he took his time and when he finally did, he seemed annoyed by her presence. She says, "Good morning" and he just gave her a blank stare and didn't reply. She says again, "GOOD MORNING", he finally replies forcefully. She then asks him a question about his room and his reply was [conveniently], "my computer froze, you'll have to wait for the receptionist to help you, sorry." He then walked away. Why is he in hospitality if he has no sense of customer service. If he treats customers like this, I can only imagine how he treats his employees. I won't go back!
