We stayed at the HTG for a week at the end of May and it was exactly the retreat we were hoping for. The beach is beautiful, the views from the rooms are gorgeous, and Betty is a wonderful hostess. if you are looking for a quiet place to just get away from it all, this is it.

My husband and I just returned from a four-night stay at Azure in SXM. This property is absolutely beautiful. You walk out of your room and within 10 steps your feet are on the sand. The view of the Caribbean is stunning - gorgeous turquoise water, sailboats in the distance, absolute peace! The room itself was perfect...comfy king-sized bed, mini fridge, microwave, dining table and chairs, A/C, satellite tv (which we watched very little as the view was tv enough!). The courtyard area was lovely - flowering trees and plants and really cool turtles. The owner (Mike) was very knowledgeable about the island and gave us a list of things to do and places to eat. Very helpful! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Azure and are planning a return trip soon. HIGHLY recommended!

We stayed just one night (unfortunately) and had a great time. Carter was sweet and accomdating, gave great recs for food and drink and helped arrange an early morning cab.

Recommend the Blue pelican for anyone looking for a quiet location within walking distance of many good restaurants and the beach.
Facilities are perfect. Well equipped kitchen with dishwasher and clothes washer and dryer. Bedroom is on the second floor with a balcony. Large shower and dressing room. Lots of closet space. Everything is modern and very clean.
There is a small shared pool which is nice to cool off in if you don't feel like heading to the beach or before going out for supper.
If you don't like resorts and crowds, and like to fix your own breakfast and snacks, this place is perfect. Felt secluded.
Nathalie, the property manager was available if we needed her, but really everything was taken care of.
There is a small market close by and a larger grocery in town which has anything you will need.
Nice vacation spot.

We were greet, registered and personally escorted to our room which was cute, quaint and spotlessly clean. Slightly out-dated decor but the personalized attention you will receive from the staff and the gorgeous beach cause any tiny imperfections to pale in comparison. A lovely restaurant and fun bar are on the premises as well.

The hotel is well situated, the staff is very friendly and helpful, the beach is walking distance away, so is the Blue Mall. There is some need of renovation but this does not affect the overall satisfaction of the stay.
