Great location in heart of Simsbury, but hotel was totally outdated, and just barely clean enough. After taking shower, the steam revealed someone had written their name in the mirror, so knowing they didn't clean the mirrors was very unsettling. Also, very dusty. Definitely not a place to stay with allergies. Loud until 1am. My child wanted to sleep in the car instead of staying in room. Live and learn, get hat you pay for.

The perfect place to stay within walking distance of the Charter Oak Figure Skating facility. Clean room (suite) on the top floor was simple, but comfortable and very spacious with a nice little balcony. Really appreciated the microwave/fridge and extra sink for food preparation. Plenty of room to stretch out, take chairs on the balcony, etc. Friendly staff. Convenient parking. Extremely well-located for us just accross from the green belt walking path. We thought it was more than fair for the fee. Just one word of caution--it is a facility that seems to require the walking of steps. There are a few steps to go down to get in, steps out to the pool, steps to upper floors. Just be careful if you really need accessibility. They might have it, but we didn't notice it off hand.

Not Impressed

I was not impressed with the hotel or the room. the carpet in the hall had lumps as if it was old and coming back. The room was very bare. It publicized itself as a long term hotel but no gasses, plates, etc. It was a room with a bed an I guess was what I was looking for the weekend but wasn't impressed. wouldn't go back if I could find another hotel in the area. Guess you get what you pay for. person at check-in was pleasant. no one ad desk so had to call on phone for person to com out.
