Nice Hotel in a quiet location, good for familyPosted Nov 17, 2013
Pros: This hotel is safe, quiet area, not many people come there as its abit out of the crazy Geylang red light area.
Cons: The room i stayed in was good,, all worth for what i paid for.
Location: Location is good, easy to walk for food etc etc at geylang 10 area.
This is a good location for this hotel, its in a quiet road 6 Geylang. Room was good,, reception was excellent. fast check in fast check out. For food and shopping,, just walk out to Geylang 10 area,, not far 5 mins walk. I took the SMRT from Changi, get down at Kallang,, walk across is Geylang 1,, so need to walk just for about 10 mins. Next morning walk out to kallang station and go all over, Cheap n good n fast.

Great stopover hotel.Posted Oct 19, 2013
Pros: The staff, the comfortable beds and practical bathroom.
Location: The location offers good opportunities for reasonably priced food and is not too far from the airport.
This was our second stay here and was even better than the first. In an expensive city this hotel is wonderful value with all the amenities and comfort you could want. The staff are friendly and professional. We couldn't ask for more. Thanks.

Cheap Sleep Amidst the Red LightsPosted Oct 1, 2013
Pros: i got exactly what i paid for, so i'm not complaining, really.
Cons: break down some of the walls and expand the rooms, if only slightly. some glassware would be nice.
Location: bars, clubs, brothels (?), and 24-hr chinese/singaporean restaurants
in town over the weekend on budget excursion, looking to save money on accommodation that i could spend on food, i went for the cheapest room that i could find. i'd discover later that geylang is the city's notorious red light district, which i suspected immediately upon seeing streetwalkers in front of the hotel. no hot water, no complimentary soap other than a body wash dispenser in the shower, no fridge, TV offered just 4 fuzzy channels. but i was in the room only long enough to sleep, so it didn't matter too much. about a 10-min walk to the kallang MRT station, which lies between the airport and downtown.

Overnight StayPosted Sep 25, 2013
Cons: Fridge in room
Hotel is clean, good for overnight stay. Room does not have a fridge so if you stay more than one night you can't have any cold drinks/supplies in your room. If all you want is a clean bed this is it. Don't expect anything more.

Ok hotel for short stay, near Kallang MRTPosted Aug 29, 2013
Pros: The nearest MRT is Kallang station. You still have to walk but not an issue, 7-10 mins. Many convenience stores nearby and restaurants. Clean room.
Cons: Pls change the bed sheets that are making noise and toilet needs exhaust fan and have safety vault in room. if you can make a way to squeeze a closet.
Location: kallang mrt station is good as you can travel around Singapore by just MRT and the stores and restaurants nearby.
It's a small room but enough for my size, im asian. they attended my requests like room with window and 2 single beds cos i travelled with sis. the bed sheets making noise enough to wake up light sleepers. they have compli bottled water, coffee and tea every morning with electric kettle. they have makeup table with hair dryer. bring your adaptors. toilet has no bidet and exhaust fan. in a very small room, exhaust fan is very needed. No closet but has hangers. they clean the room every day as per your request. staff generally nice and you can ask them. seems old hotel but cleanliness wise it's good. elevator working, premises smell nice and clean. it's in geylang area, a red light district so be sure not to get back hotel so late. i didnt find the area a threat lol but just an advise especially if u r a woman travelling alone. Maybe not ideal place for kids too. But if youre in a budget, this is a good option. Singapore is a nice country and people learning english. Enjoy discovering Singapura, a small country that has a lot to offer especially to kids and young at heart people. :) It's true, it's a fine city! Double-meaning! :)
