Not a 4 Star hotel

Posted Sep 8, 2014
Pros: Location is good
Couldn't find my reservation even though I had a confirmation number. Made me wait for over 1/2 hour before they would even give me a room and wanted to charge me the door rate which was $100 more than the expedia rate. Bed was like sleeping on plywood. Pool is under renovation which no-one mentioned. Gym is in the dungeon. Wi-fi is $25 per day. Breakfast was very mediocre and expensive. There are much better hotels in the CBD for the same price.

Hotel needs lots of improvements

Posted Aug 19, 2014
Pros: Convenient location.
Cons: As mentioned above in the experience.
The staff does not really smile and talk very softly when I check into the hotel. Not sure if she is having a sore throat on that day but I do not really understand throughout the conversation. Beside this, the wardrobe has a weird smell which makes me feel like puking when I open it. Lastly, I am surprised there is no express check out and they still have to call room service to check if we touch any mini bars, as this is considered old-fashioned way of service. Overall, the hotel needs lots of improvements and this will be my first and last stay in this hotel.

Nice hotel..

Posted Aug 2, 2014
Pros: The location, the room and all the facilities.
Cons: More fruit variety during breakfast.
Location: Location is very central. China town, malls, and the waterfront basically.
Nice hotel, close to many shopping malls, walking distance to China Town and the WaterFront. However some construction works on going in the vicinity, and so bit of noise from outside, in the room, even at night, bit disturbing.

Quality Service, Excellent Location

Posted Jun 26, 2014 on Hotels.com
Kudos to the team at Furama City Centre (FCC), particularly Liza, Ariane, Mae, Joy, Ina and Mitchell ‘cause those are the people whom we interacted with. I’m sure the rest of the team is equally brilliant so keep up the good work people! SMILE because it brightens up everybody’s lives! Location: Near Chinatown subway, surrounded by malls, supermarket, massage parlors, salons, eateries, restaurants, money changers, drugstores, ATMs and other retail stores. Room: Bed and pillows are comfy; toiletries provided. Amenities: Gym looks quite pathetic, pool isn’t fantastic either. Service: Fantastic!
