“SURPRISINGLY IMPRESSED”

Having read other reviews on various websites we were prepared for a basic hotel at the right price but we were very impressed.All staff were very friendly and extremely helpful.We arrived 5 hours before the official check in time but they prepared our rooms for us as soon as possible and did not charge any extra.Breakfast was basic but the guy who was in charge was friendly and obliging.The hotel is a bit away from the centre but public transport is fast,cheap and efficient.We enjoyed our 4 nights there and would return without hesitation.

“very comfy for the price”

I enjoyed the hotel, it was not the most luxurious place on the planet, but for the price it was ideal. I certainly got a great bargain compared with all the other people travelling to the conference. The rooms was bright, sunny, the bathroom immaculately clean, the a/c was TOO cold, it was in the 90s every day I was there, though, so that was welcome, and the little gym room, laundrette and internet room came in very handy during my 10 day stay. because of the heat you will find yourself taking about 2or 2 showers per day, so just be warned-there is a a little switch with a red light on it on the wall, that is your hot water heater. Also, turning all the power on in the room requires you inserting the key tag into the power on switch in the wall, a really good way of making sure no one leaves all the lights and so forth turned on when they are leaving. singapore was awesome, the location was 10 minutes from downtown, but only about 5 to the resort island of sentosa and the harborfront and vivo city mall, all of which were awesome and perfect for early birds like me who want to get up and swim on pristine beaches without another soul around. The breakfast ws great, very english, egg, sausage, baked beans, hash brown patty, and sometimes some of the local specialities. all the food in singapore is great and due to climate I thin, you will be eating about 6 times a day, so it is great to have something solid at 7;30 in the morning.

“Fantastic Service”

The hotel is out of Chinatown slightly and has 9 floors. not many rooms on each floor though. the rooms are not large but comfortable. tea/coffee making equipment and small fridge. very clean . Reception staff were fantastic, extremely helpful and knowledgeable. Breakfast was filling and tasty.

“Good place for the price”

While this is not a top of the line hotel, for the cost it is a very good place to stay for a couple of days. It is relatively close to the bus stops and taxi service is available. The rooms are sparse, but relatively comfortable. The complimentry breakfast is convient. If you are looking to be pampered and have extravagance for a family holiday, this is not the place. If you are in town for a few days business or lay over, stay here. Service was great, I told the from desk at 1830 the phone in my room was bad, they had it replcaed and working by 1845.

“Good hotel and a great price”

I had a basic room and it was great for the price. The room was clean and the staff was friendly. The only bad thing I would comment on was the fact that they couldn't get the Internet connection in my room to work. However, that was actually ok because they let me use a connection free of charge on their patio area. I would have had to pay for the connection in my room so I ended up saving some money by logging on in the patio area.

“Economic Hotel”

Hotel was the right price - a bit far from twon but taxis were handy.

Good place to stay. Close to Vivo Shopping Centre and MRT. Comfortable and safe.

“Economy on all levels”

Good hotel for people who need a place to shower and sleep. Free Internet in lobby. Small rooms. Some of the rooms need touch up. Breakfast is basic but decent. Overall good for the money.

“Excellent value, OK location.”

A little hard to get to, but for the price worth the extra effort.

clean room, close to transport(bus), quiet. walk distance to closest shopping mall and MRT.
