Très bien situéPosted Dec 22, 2014
Même si les chambres sont petites, c'est décoré avec goût. Le personnel a été très gentil. Et j'y retournerais sans problème

Clean and friendly hotel in Chinatown.Posted Dec 16, 2014
Pros: Good position in Chinatown.
Cons: More information about room sizes - ours was only about 8' by 10'
Location: Very close to North Bridge Road, Pagoda St and food. Chinatown and Outram Underground Stations are a few minutes walk away.
Good Breakfast, friendly and helpful staff. However a "Superior" room was very small - only just enough room to put cases on the floor. Free Wi-Fi, drinks and nibbles. Walking distance to shopping, food, bus and underground trains with direct connection to Changi airport.

friendly staff, but strange roomsPosted Dec 15, 2014
Pros: Staff & location. Bed was comfy, water & juice were plentiful. Good breakfast.
Location: MRT (Outram & Chinatown stations), New restaurants/cafes, Chinatown
Pros -- the wonderful staff; the restaurant; the location (close to two MRT lines, great new cafes & downtown chinatown). Bed was comfy. cold water, juice & snacks were plentiful. Full cooked breakfast was great (eggs, meat, fruit, coffee, danish, yogurt, etc) Cons -- the rooms themselves are a bit awkward: extremely small, most do not have closets, dressers or any space for clothing; some of the larger rooms feature a "hook on a wall" to accommodate some hanging clothes. The 4th floor "suite" with outdoor patio (really one room) does include a closet. The bathrooms are interesting, a combined shower/toilet room. It gets a bit loud a night, between trash collection (massive class bottles) and trumpets & drums blaring from the Indian Temple around the corner (the hotel offers ear plugs, just ask).

Great location. Try to find "The Library" for a night cap.

Pros: zentrale Lage, guter bis sehr guter Service, gut durchdachte Zimmer

Wir waren erstmals in Singapur und würden das Hotel wieder wählen.

quick trip to singapore for an early flight outPosted Sep 29, 2014
Pros: The location, and the price, as compared to the other hotels. The room was very small, but clean and had everything you need.
Cons: I"ve been there 2 times, and the restaurant was closed. I didn"t have breakfast, because I left too early...
Location: The location was on the edge of Chinatown. It was close to the metro.I went to the river to enjoy the nightlife.
I stayed in the same hotel last year for 1 night. Location was good... I walked to the river and had dinner at Clarks Quey. The air was smoky and hot. They were burning on another island. Sept. 17th. I went in the shopping center first, but wound up not buying anything.( Last year I went to the night Zoo, which was very nice.)I had some Vietnamese food, which was very good. I decided I needed some dessert,so I had cake and tea. The walk was good, except for the heat. I had a 6AM flight ,so didn"t stay out too long.

1929Posted Sep 19, 2014 on Hotels.com

Good for short stay for single travellerPosted Sep 3, 2014
Pros: Food, food, food, So close to Chinatown and delicious, cheap food. 2 blocks from MRT. Taxis passing hotel all the time.
Cons: Mirror behind bed is useless. I'm 165cm and couldn't reach it. Needs one placed on wall in room.
Stayed in singapore for 48 hours and this hotel was perfect for myself. Yes, the room is very small. Only designed for 1 person. Room for only one suitcase on floor. Great staff accessible 24 hrs. Tea and coffee and good vanity kit. Shower, toilet and vanity in one very small room so everything will be wet after shower. Can be noisy inside hotel. Doors are very close to each other so voices, doors closing can easily be heard. Traffic was not a problem as it's not a high traffic area. Hindu temple bell ringing starts at 0730h and I used it as an alarm.

A hotel like a friend's roomPosted Aug 25, 2014
I enjoyed staying in a small room and nice breakfast here. As lots of visitors said, the room was really small, but they made up rooms every day with nice work. There are MRT stations near the hotel and good restaurants or bars around this hotel. The only one thing to mention is you might hear a little music or noise from Chinatown early in the morning ( 7 in the morning?) . You may choose other hotels if you don't like it. Anyway, I enjoyed myself.
