Its really value for money , clean & aircon work well. Just the bathroom function not too well, The hotel's drainage system isn't very efficient; after taking a shower, water accumulates and remains wet throughout the day. Additionally, the soundproofing is quite average. Otherwise , I’m happy with the overall. Staff is very helpful.

This is a small room with just a bed- no frills, no extras. But it was very clean. Staff was extremely helpful and courteous. They helped me to book rides, find nearby restaurants, and accommodated my early arrival.

Great Singapore stay
Very nice hotel with clean room and bathroom. There is filtered water on tap in the bathroom and great quality AC. WiFi is also fantastic.

Upon checkin was put into a room that smelled strongly of smoke or mildew. The staff accommodated a room change so that was good. Overall stay for one night was ok. No hand towels or toiletries were provided other than a gel soap dispenser in the shower. For a budget accommodation it is clean but did leave a bit to be desired. Room numbers being printed on the key was very weird and not quite a safe practice.

Overall this hotel was clean and the front desk staff were very helpful in answering all my questions and providing recommendations. The fridge in my room could probably have used a quick clean, but based on the condition of the rest of the hotel I suspect this was an exception not the rule. I would stay here again

I am not familiar with the neighborhoods in Singapore and picked this one just out of the way the picture looked and the price was very reasonable. It is a pretty new building and everything about the room was spanking new. Geylang apparently used to be a red light district but it has been cleaned up and is now just another middle class area. Lots of dining options. Only drawback is that it is about a 15-minute walk from either of the 2 nearest MRT stations although there are many excellent bus line options 2 blocks away.

Overall I like the place. It was clean, if small. The bed linen was fresh and the shower was plentiful in terms of hot water. Not having milk to make a cup of tea Aussie Style was a bit disappointing. However it was good value and just a $2.50 train fare from the airport albeit with some walking. Just one night between flights from Sydney to Paris. Singapore does smell bad, like rancid ghee.

It was ok. The rooms were decent size and the AC worked well. Some of the bad, the hotel is very dated. The fridge stunk, like I made the mistake of opening it and it stunk up the whole room. Things were broken like the soap dispenser. The shower had no door so it floods you bathroom. I also received about 5 calls to check out right at 11. I couldn't use the phone because you guessed it. It didn't work. It is fine for a night but that's about it.

it was a very convenient place to stay as close to the national stadium; plenty of choices of eateries especially if you like asian food. the nearest atm was quite a distance away if you need to have cash on you as some places only take cash. there is a laundry very close to the property which is also a plus. close to the main city and the reception staff were all very friendly professional and helpful throughout.

The property, once inside is very clean. But I do not know why my room was never serviced during my 3-night stay. The neighborhood is a bit bad for Singapore - I was told only after I arrived that it is an area for gangs and drugs. The first night, it was really noisy both in and outside the hotel with drunk guests laughing and speaking loudly after midnight.

This is the last expedia rewiew I write. Not sure why I need to pick the penguin 5x to write a review? Please is basic, mostly clean. Staff has a minimalist approach. It's cheap and clean. Just what We needed for 2 nights. Rooms are small but I didn't go there to sit in the room.TV has no content but turns on but we didn't go to watch TV.

Rooms are very small, but clean and fine for one night. Area is not great, but close to the airport. Staff was nice. Lots of backpackers/young travelers. Had to call the front desk to complain about noise from one room.

Room is a bit small but manageable. Luggages can be slid under the bed. Shower and toilet share the same space so floor is wet after shower. Bring slipper or sandals.

Great Service but Smokey Rooms
The rooms are nice and comfortable and modern but they smell of Cigarette smoke. We complained the first night upon check in and got moved to a nicer room but by the next morning it smelled of smoke again. Not sure if it comes through the vents or is ingrained in the furnishings of half the rooms here but it can be annoying. Staff are kind and helpful though and rooms are otherwise fine.
