Nice Resort for relaxationPosted Jan 11, 2014
Pros: Large room, we'll maintained and clean. Away from the busy city life of Singapore. Quiet (especially during weekdays) and serene.
Cons: Should provide free wifi in rooms.
Location: You can easily drive out to do shopping in the nearby North Point shopping centre.
Had a two-night staycation with family and friends. Pleasantly surprise by the rather large room which is equipped with a queen-size and single bed. Rooms are very well maintained and clean. All rooms are facing the golf course which provides a very nice view of tranquility. You could enjoy the beautiful sunrise in the morning from the balcony. An excellent place for relaxation.

Family Friendly stay with all the right thingsPosted Oct 13, 2013
Pros: Affordable, excellent customer service, excellent facilities, beautiful grounds and still good proximity to city without the cost and noise.
Cons: Our room was a little tired and worn with sticky brown marks on carpet and the lounge was peeling. However these are small issues only.
Location: A 10 minute ride to the Yishun MRT and then 15 mins to city. A 10 minute cab to Singapore Zoo - highly recommended.
We stayed in the Orchid Country Club as a stopover on return from Europe. It was perfect for our needs. Very quiet, comfortable room with big bed and block out blinds to help with the jet lag. Beautiful grounds and three swimming pools to keep our son entertained. A short travel distance to the city via their frequent minibus service to MRT then a $2.20 fare to town. We ate at the Vanda Terrace, one of the four restaurants on site. They offered a good variety of eastern and western food at a very reasonable price, and the terrace overlooks the beautiful gardens and golf course. The first room offered to us had a musty damp smell but the staff were quick to find an alternative and did so without fuss. At all times the service provided was excellent, down to the late checkout, the use of pool and change room facilities and even the charging of our son's Ipod before departure. This is an excellent affordable family accommodation option and we will definitely use it again.

I liked it... just some feedbackPosted Oct 6, 2013 on Hotels.com
The surrounding was really beautiful, golf park and lots of green, a good way to get away from the city. Was planning to stay there for our night safari trip which was nearby. One thing I dont really like is the air inside my room, it was kinda the moldy smell since i guess it has been a while since someone else used the room, and the air con wasnt too intuitive, so i couldnt figure out how to reduce the intensity of it so it felt like minus 20 when i was sleeping. but overall i would recommend someone who wants to spend some time with their beloved ones away from the city and do some golf, bowling, swimming and zoo
