“Singapore (Shangri La) trip during January 2010”
Hotel is 10 minutes (or less) walking distance from the famous Orchard Road. Taxis are available around the clock & the hotel is conveniently located so as not to be noisy. I reserved a Premier Club room (75 square meters) which was VERY spacious, excellently decorated with a SPACIOUS bathroom. Drinking water was provided twice a day. I would recommend this hotel to anyone enjoying a good walk to Orchard Road, however beware that Singapore is EXTREMELY humid & hot. Walking outside sapped my energy.
“A most civilised place to stay”
From the moment you arrive you are treated like a true guest. All the staff are so incredibly polite and helpful, nothing is too much trouble. Visit The Line restaurant for the excellent buffet and wonderful staff. Pool and spa facilities are first class.
“What a gym!”
This hotel has the best gym that I have come across yet. Individual plasma screens ifor each cardio machine, a climbing wall, sterile ear muffs. Great service overall as well from staff. The rooms were pretty good too although we found the pillows a little uncomfortable. Great location, just at the end of Orchard Road.
“The place to be”
go there, stay there and you will not find much better in singapore (overall).
“Great Hotel - If I go back this is where I'll stay”
One of the best hotels I have stayed in. The Garden Wing is fantastic with tropical gardens, ponds and waterfalls. Staff extremely friendly and helpful. Great breakfast beautiful swimming pool and really cool bar in the Tower wing. I would recommend this hotel to anyone. If I return to Singapore this is where I will be staying - my colleagues do and say the same!
“Can't wait to go back”
Can't wait to go back
“J'y retournerai avec plaisir lors de mon prochain séjour”
Probablement le meilleur service et le meilleur personnel que j'ai eu l'occasion de rencontrer.
“Great hotel”
I stayed at the horizon club with my wife and 4 year old son for 7 nights. The hotel was really luxurious and they provided great service. Club lounge was also a great experience. Our family really enjoyed champains and canape and some sandwiches at the club lounge. The butler at the club lounge was very polite and cheerful and respondent. The pool was another joyful experience and my son really liked the kid pool. Only one problem was the shower in my room. The amount of water was little bit small so that I and my wife have littel problem when we took a shower.
“Total Heaven, dreams are made at places like this”
From the front door to the cleaners everyone was totally friendly and nothing was too much trouble. The Pool and whole setting was like something in a movie and was so releaxing. Any assistance with getting to meetings, places to visit , anything was handled quickly and efficiently.
