Worse resort in Asia!Posted Oct 25, 2014
This hotel is under a lot of renovation currently which is much needed. The odor of paint, the noise generated by the workers, the children water playground closed, the construction outside the hotel and across the road, the noise of the grinders .... Made our stay terrible. If you like having breakfast with all sort of birds trying to steal your food off your plate then you will enjoy it! We did not ...

Great EscapePosted Oct 7, 2014
Cons: Food was quite expensive.
Location: Shuttle bus to shopping at Vivo-City, Mega-Zip, Resorts World is only a free bus ride away.
Very family-orientated hotel with a great pool area, in a lovely peaceful setting. Heaps to do on the island and beyond.

Great stay option with kidsPosted Oct 5, 2014
If you're visiting Sentosa with kids this is THE place to stay. If without kids then might get a bit annoying because they are all around! It's well placed on the beach and so very nice as an overall package. No other resort seemed to be on the beach / with a sea view.

An excellent resort catering well to families.Posted Sep 29, 2014
Pros: Grounds and the pools Staff attention to detail location
Location: A must visit also on Sentosa is a water park called Adventure cove, it has water play areas suited to all ages including swimming with marine animals.
The property suits families with a well run kids program and kids eat for free with a paying adult. The rooms and public areas are modern and the large resort pools and gardens beautifully maintained. Located right on the beach you can walk to many bars and cafes if you chose to eat elsewhere, but the resort restaurants are well priced and have a large range of cuisines. We are already planning our next holiday at the Shangri-la Rasa Sentosa.

Not bad but not great. Good for young familiesPosted Sep 28, 2014
Pros: Staff were all very friendly Great position next to the beach and nice pool
Cons: We ate in a number of the food establishments there. The food was all a bit bland. Better food off site Room standard should be better
Location: Nice quite position, near beach and free tram line along waterfront. Also free shuttle service was good
On arrival they we were told our 14 y.o. daughter ( who we'd booked in as a child through Expedia) was not a child and this seemed to cause them some consternation and everything was expedias fault, but eventually they said they'd make an exception just this once?? The room we got was next to a building site that worked til 1.00a.m. ( whistles blowing, jack hammering etc). Next morning they gladly moved us to the far end of the hotel. I know why this room was vacant - the smell of damp. It was so damp that just by sitting on the bed, your clothes became damp. We put up with it - couldn't be bothered packing up again. All the staff were great

Wonderful Experience - Thank youPosted Sep 23, 2014
Pros: The layout, the clean and inviting feel and the food.
Cons: I can not think of anything
Location: Sentosa Island is designed in such a way that you only need to jump on a bus and let the fun begin. Really enjoyed Universal Studio's too.
Elegant first impression and the view from the room was wonderful. The food selection was great at the hotel. The swimming area was always clean and tidy, the children's club was clean and the children had a lot of choices available. Staff were always pleasant and provided wonderful service when a family member became unwell. Lots of activities on offer and the location is such that it's just a stone's throw away. We are looking forward to returning.
