The Inn was surprising, The room was much smaller than we expected, for example only one of us could put a case on the bed to get things out as there was no storage. The bathroom is tiny barely room to use the toilet plus the shower was broken so had to be held. Also there is no lift so carrying large cases in very humid temperatures could be a challenge for some people, may be better to request a lower floor if you have any sort of mobility issues The Inn is ver traditional and in a super area, for what we paid it was ok but the room was nothing to write home about. The staff on reception were great and helpful. The hotel is in the heart of Chinatown which was fascinating and busy, the noise did not bother us at but again be mindful if you want something quieter. Would I recommend, I have been honest from my perspective, it’s more about personal preference. Would I stay again, I am not sure as I think I would like something a bit more modern with breakfast. However having said this I wouldn’t change the time I had there.

Really moldy and unclean room I couldn’t even see in the mirror and the sheets didn’t fit the bed and had stains on them. I really wanted to like this place because it is a good location in Chinatown but the cleanliness is awful. I will not return to this hotel.

Great location, small room, clean, but no elevator
Firstly, the location is just amazing. Right in the middle of Chinatown, 3-minute walk from MRT station, I loved walking around the neighborhood over-and-over. Just for this reason, I might come here again. Beyond that, the room itself was very clean and organized. That said, the room was pretty small and it was a bit pricey for the size. Moreover I got a room on the top floor, and there is no elevator so if you have a big suitcase like I did, it is very hard (you have to do it yourself, no paid help). However the staff was understanding and allowed me to keep my large suitcase for the entire duration of my stay (3 days) below encouraging me to grab what I needed. The Wi-Fi was good, and the staff allowed me to stay for a while after I had checked out while I was killing time to get taxi. All-in-all, a pretty decent experience but exceptional location.

In need of some TLC. Great location though
I enjoyed the location and proximity to both Chinatown and the MRT. The room i stayed in however is in need of quite a view updates such as the following: Working tv. Toilet roll holder needs repair. Shower and basin needs unclogging. Shower needs a thorough clean. Shower door needs some repairs. Room entrance door looks to have some stains on it that might be mould. Im sure a sugar soap clean would address this. Essentially, the room needs some TLC. I should also mention that the price was reasonable and the downfalls of the room werent show stoppers for me.

dirty and expensive, no elevator
sadly one of the dirty and falling apart places, the staff are great and very helpful and kind, but other than that, no elevator and it needs a lot of cleaning. the area also is dirty, just in front you can see rats, lizzards and cockroaches at night

The room condition needs an uplift. So much hair on the toilet floor. The local tv channels ain't even working properly ... fuzzy images throughout the hours that tv was on.

This is an excellent place to stay in Singapore and we'd certainly stay here again. The location in Chinatown is brilliant. Our room was a little dated, but very comfortable.

A Nice Find
Well located and maintained property. Friendly and helpful staff. Plenty of restaurants and attractions in the area. Multiple lines of the train system are on easy walking distance. I would stay here again. Based on a lack of an elevator and space for children, I would recommend it for the physically challenged or families with children.

Pros: Great location! Few minutes walk to the Chinatown train station. Budget friendly price. Air conditioning worked really well. 24/7 front desk staff very nice and helpful. Cons: No elevator so we had to carry suitcase to 3rd floor. Small room barely any floor space to put suitcase. No hairdryer.
