"Elegant Hotel"
This hotel was everything one would expect it to be and then some. The service was excellent, from day one we were greeted by our names and every day after. The room was immaculate, with lots of space and a very comfortable bed. The food was delicious, and a plethora of choices from the breakfast buffet. I cannot find any fault in this hotel and would highly recommend to anyone.

"Amazing view of Singapore!"
It was great that the hotel was so tall that when we were walking we could always find our way back. The room was very large but the fridge was a bit tricky to put your own drinks into. For free wifi you have to be a Swissotel member. We enjoyed our stay. Our 6 year old daughter seemed to accumulate many teddy bears on our holiday and each day they were put very tidily around her bed. We enjoyed seeing how the cleaners set the toys up.

"Best hotel to watch the night light show"
We had the ocean view room which was facing the Sands. Watcedh the night light show from our room. It was fantastic. The Edge restaurant offered many variety of foods and the Indian food restaurant was excellent in food, service & attire. On the day of check out, we planned to keep our luggage at the concierge until we were ready to check in at our cruise ship at 2:00p. We were happily surprised when we went back to the hotel to get our luggage that they were already sent to the ship. It was an excellent service.

"FRIENDLY STAFF"
Excellent location on the edge of Chinatown with shops and stalls all within easy walking distance. Lots of restaurants and eating places nearby. Shops and stalls stay open to late evening so plenty of oriental ambience. Hotel staff could not do enough for us and everywhere was spotlessly clean. Nice hotel roof bar area with outdoor fans serving bar snacks and cocktails with a special offer each night. We booked an executive room with a balcony which was a mistake as the balcony was too hot to sit out in and the view overlooked a car park. Other rooms without a balcony were more spacious so we transferred after our first night there.

"Classic; comfortable oasis in heart of the city."
The Fullerton is a classic, luxurious, comfortable oasis in the heart of Singapore's busy-ness and bustle. A beautiful riverside location enables easy walking to shops, museums and some lovely riverside cafes. The huge, airy, central atrium is always calm and welcoming, despite all the business obviously done there. There is a real sense here of understated elegance rather than the overwhelming bling, noise and aggrandisement of some of the other city centre hotels that I visited. The Fullerton has a style, elegance and grace; as well as a human scale that the others lack; and I found the staff uniformly courteous, helpful and friendly. Nothing was too much trouble for them. The downside for me were the awful tubes of instant coffee and tubs of creamer instead of milk in my room. Given the standard of the rest of the hotel, I would have expected a small cafetiere, filter coffee and real milk. Facing Nescafe first thing in the morning was not good to wake up to. A blot on an otherwise extremely restful and comfortable stay. I was travelling alone and some hotels have made me feel very uncomfortable about that. The Fullerton did not. On the contrary, it made me feel very welcome. Nothing was too much trouble, from letting me into my room early after a long trip to giving detailed travel instructions; and that really added to my enjoyment of my holiday.
