Great hotel, with a great locationPosted Feb 4, 2015
Pros: Location and the restaurant
Cons: The pool with the waterslide is perfect for kids under 10, but tough for any kids older.
Location: Great location right off the interstate, lots of places to eat that were kid friendly, gave them something to do with it being cold outside.
Overall a great place to stay. The staff was very friendly and the rooms were great. The pool is perfect for little one's under ten. Couldn't say enough great things regarding the attached restaurant.

Nice overnight get awayPosted Dec 29, 2014
Pros: We took our small grandsons to swim and the pool was perfect for them!
Location: The Empire Mall was close for shopping and also the movie theatres. The fact that Carino's was attached to the hotel made it very nice.
The hotel staff was excellent! Everyone was more than accommodating and helpful!

Quick Weekend GetawayPosted Oct 14, 2014
Pros: They gave us a ride downtown in the morning and transported us where we needed to go. Also they have a very nice breakfast in the morning.
Location: It is a good area to go out for a nice supper or have some drinks.
Went up for the weekend to stay for a football game and hang out with friends. I used to live in Sioux Falls and this was a great central location to get to all the events/ places we needed to go.

Unexpected PleasurePosted Sep 11, 2014
Pros: Room was great and bed was comfortable and we got a good nights sleep
Location: We went into the downtown area in just a short time and were able to find a nice restaurant easily
Very nice hotel room with entrance on both inside (for breakfast) and outside (for packing the car). We were close to the pool area, but there was no noise after 9, so it was just fine for a good nights sleep after a long day of driving

Great stopping point on way to Badlands/Mt RushPosted Aug 26, 2014
Cons: The pool could be a little bigger.
Location: We spent an enjoyable day at Falls Park and visited a butterfly house also.
We stopped here on our way to the Badlands/Mount Rushmore area instead of driving straight through and liked it so much we stayed again on the way home. They have a really nice, secluded outdoor area where we enjoyed our complimentary breakfast in the morning. Falls Park is nearby and well worth a visit before you leave town.

Beautiful HotelPosted Jul 22, 2014
One night stay on the way to Custer State Park from WI. The hotel is beautifully decorated. Room was good size and beds were comfy. They are located on a biking/walking trail and have bikes for rent. We didn't use the pool but it is set up like a mini water park which is great for younger kids. They also have 3 fire pit areas outside to sit around at night. Breakfast was good. Fresh and very clean. We would certainly stay here again!

Nice hotel, easy to find.Posted Jul 15, 2014
Pros: Area, attractions nearby, breakfast, nice rooms and whirlpool.
Cons: Have a 6 room with a king bed and 2 queens instead of the pull out sofa. I loved the bed except trying to fit 2 bigger people.
Location: We didn't get to do much exploring but it looked like there was a biking/hiking trail behind the hotel. Lots of shopping in the area.
We stayed for 2 nights. The pool was smaller than we thought so with 4 teenagers they were a little disappointed that it wasn't bigger, but we all LOVED the whirlpool! The room was gorgeous but even though it says it can sleep 6 it was a very tight fit and one of my kids decided to sleep on the floor both nights because the pull out couch just wasn't big enough for 2. The beds were great except if you are bigger person it does seem a little small. Bathroom was good sized and hot water for all 6 of us to take showers one right after another without a problem!!! Breakfast was good with a good assortment of things to eat. The restaurant connected to the hotel is the best we have ever had and would recommend it to anyone looking for some great Italian food! Just wish we could have spent more time at the hotel to enjoy the outdoor patio area.

We reserved this hotel on Expedia as a stopover on our way to Rapid City. It was easy to access and the facilities were immaculate! Thank you!

Enjoyment and ExcellencePosted Jun 9, 2014
Pros: We especially enjoyed the feeling of home. It was as if we were sitting in our own home after traveling for some time and all the comforts of home
Cons: nothing comes to mind
Location: the locations was fine as we enjoyed dinner at a local restaurant and did some shopping in near by stores
We found the whole environment from the moment we stepped into the lobby to the time we checked out to be that of complete comfort. It was what we had sought the three weeks on the road and finally found it on our last evening. The room was spotless and inviting. The bed was sheer comfort and relief for a weary back and body and the bathroom was roomy and clean. Topping the stay was the morning warm meal waiting and the various appetizing treats for our enjoyment in a lobby and dining area which made you feel quite at home and welcomed. The staff was courteous and genuine and very willing to answer assist in any manner. The Clubhouse staff truly know the meaning of customer service. My family and I will recommend to others the quality of service you get at the Clubhouse Hotel and Suites and will surely stay there anytime we are in Sioux Falls.
