mold on shower curtain

nasty black mold on the shower curtain. They did change it when we asked, but it was so nasty and so obvious, that it makes me doubt their cleaning skills. It was also under renovation, half the parking lot was piles of building materials, and the hot tub was shut down, with the pool shutting down our last day there also. The staff were very courteous and were sympathetic to our concerns. The breakfast was very tasty and good variety to choose from. I will not be staying here ever again. Mold is not acceptable.

Without this type of feedback, we are unable to learn from your mistakes and shortcomings in order to better serve you, our valued guest. I want to apologize for the condition of your room during your stay with us. I can assure you we take great pride in our hotel and the level of service we provide to our guests. I agree that state of your room was unacceptable given the description you gave me. I can assure you these matters are taken very seriously by our team and company and have been addressed . I also apologize for the clutter of the parking lot and the hot tub being closed. We tried our very best to limit the inconvenience our renovation, caused and that includes the outside of the hotel as well as the inside. As part of our renovation, we built a brand-new, much larger hot tub in our pool room. I'm sorry that you for here while that process was going on, but I can assure you that it is much improved and worth the wait if you were to return. Again, I am so sorry that your stay wasn't up to your expectations or ours. I hope that we will be given another opportunity in the future to earn back your loyalty.

Near shopping and food

It was a very nice location near the mall and very nice places to eat such as Texas Roadhouse! The only negatives of the hotel was there was only one exit where our room was if there was a fire besides the windows which were hard to open. Also, could not cool the room down. The temp was at 75 degrees and it was too hot for that small of a space and we had to open the windows to get it cooler. Room was very clean.

The only reason that I gave condition of hotel as a 3 was because they were under reno. The rooms and breakfast area was done and were beautiful, but they were not finished with remainder of hotel, however it did not obstruct the entrances or hallways. Staff was GREAT!!

Easter break

Pros: Staff
Cons: nothing stood out as bad - just an older hotel BUT WELL MAINTAINED! and clean.
Location: Great - close to mall -easy access to interstate.
Quiet and clean. Nice location. Has everything you need to stay and more.

Was not impressed with how the hotel has been taken care of .. Everything is out dated. Their was mold in our bathroom behind the door.. The floor in the kitchen had food on it. When i go back to Sioux Falls again We will not stay there again,
