“Loved it!”

We needed a place to stay and picked this hotel due to location right off the interstate and close proximity to area restaurants and shops. The staff was so friendly, hotel was so clean, and modern decor was a bonus. We would definately stay here again and will research other locations of this chain. Continental breakfast and coffee in the lobby was great. Very impressed - thank you!

“Great location to stay with plenty of access to surrounding activities.”

“New modern look, yet comfy.”

We loved our stay here! The new decor is very modern and yet comfortable. It is unique...not like any other hotel. Our TV did not work so we were moved to another room which was actually even nicer and bigger than the first and the first was great. Breakfast was very good too. If we ever come this way again, we would definitely stay here and we will look for other Springhills that have undergone this new look. It's also within walking distance of a nice mall and restaurants. Great!

Must see

Visit the Falls Park right in Sioux Falls. It's a free park and has beautiful water falls. Don't miss it! It's on the edge of town and definitely worth 30 min. - longer if you want to have a picnic or take pictures.

“Great value”

Halfway point on trip from Wisconsin to Black Hills. 7 or 8 miles off I-90. Excellent value. Clean, spacious rooms with very comfortable beds. Friendly and helpful staff. Complimentary continental breakfast was great. Indoor pool was small and cool but fine for kids. Entrance to hotel is tricky -- off the back corner of adjacent mall parking lot.

“Good Hotel”

“Sioux Falls Best”

Pleasantly surprised by the room. Looked almost like an apartment. The only thing I DIDN'T like was the bathroom being 4 feet away from the foot of the bed. But that's just a personal preference! Staff were very friendly & helpful, giving us a map of the area.

Area recommendations

If you want to be near things, I think being downtown would have been better.

Getting there

Very easy to locate. It's right off the highway, but kind of confusing to actually GET to it. You drive on to a "frontage road" of the mall. The hotel sits behind a couple of other buildings, so you actually have to drive PAST it, turn & then drive back to it.

Must see

Loved the FALLS. Wanted to see why Sioux Falls was named what it is. Not disappointed! Beautiful park. Well maintained.

“best hotel on the trip”

If you are looking for a moderate priced hotel I would recommend Springhill Suites. The room was large and comfortable with a nice sitting area. I liked the walk in shower as an alternative to the in the tub shower found in most hotels. The pre-cooked oatmeal in the complimentary breakfast was smooth and delicious. There was a selection of good restaurants close by.

Area recommendations

We were on a biking trip and found the 20 mile biking trail in Sioux Falls to be beautiful.
