We checked in late and were let in to the hotel by the night auditor who was very friendly. The hotel room was clean but there were some maintenance that could have been done, nothing that impacted our stay. The breakfast area was welcoming and I was impressed with the outdoor area.

This hotel was extremely dirty outside the common area. The hallways had litter from the wrestling tournament kids, mud and dirt. Inside the room the rocking chair had a majority of the upholstery gone, the refrigerator was broken, the sink and desk chair was damaged. The room's carpet had some food or something embedded in the fibers. The bathroom near the front desk had NO paper towels and less than one roll of toilet paper. Most of all they refused to have us in a nearby room close to the front or main floor entry door. They were fully booked because of a wrestling tournament. Both Mom and myself have serious disabilities, I use a cane and Mom has COPD and a heart condition. We were in a second story room in the furthest corner from the front desk. Mom was out of breath and had a take several breaks walking to the room. We checked in at 3:30 pm and check in was at 3:00 pm. Not all the rooms could have been already checked in. We came to Sioux Falls to have a cancer screening. I question how safe the hotel is.. when came back to the hotel at 8 pm there were 2 police cars and 3 officers at the front desk. I will never stay at this hotel again.

I stayed in this hotel with my family shortly after it was built. It was a lovely hotel with a beautiful courtyard, fun pool and waterslide area, great staff and a nice breakfast area. My how the years have worn this place down. Taking a drive around the property shows the exterior neglect, and a brief walk inside shows the interior neglect. Couple this with cheap rates, noisy kids and dogs, folks who obviously call this place home, and doors continually propped open as if to share their stay with everyone, and you can't help but wonder what happened. Our room was fine, but this whole place is run down and needs to be refurbished. It's not a real convenient location to much of anything, other than the interstate. The staff is fine, and we got checked in after just a few minutes wait. The breakfast leaves A LOT to be desired. They have a wonderful breakfast area, very nice actually, but hardly anything to actually eat. Cold cereal, bread and bagels, a bowl of apples, and orange juice, that's about it. It barely suffices as a continental breakfast and leaves a lot to be desired. If you like coffee, they have a nice little coffee bar, and the gal taking care of the area was nice and friendly. This place used to be a top-notch hotel. It's been left to rot, and now a person can see why it's one of the cheapest places to stay in town. Staff - ok, Room - ok, Hotel - needs a lot of work...

My room was nice. Price for my 2night stay was nice so I didn't expect luxury. Hair dryer didn't work and there were alot of tools and repairs in the hallway. But we were there for swimming and waterslide and my granddaughters enjoyed both to the fullest. I will return.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was clean but did not heat very well in the cold temps. The hallway was freezing cold and constantly filled with smoke. Talked to staff about rooms around being loud and fighting in the night as well as smoking indoors. I was informed that they had squatters in the surrounding rooms that they could not evict. The wing with the breakfast bar was warm and clean. The hotel only had a few others staying so I don’t know if my using this app to get a discount is why we were given the bad wing or what. I usually stay at the holiday inn but wanted the slide for my kid which was down anyways. I will never book here again.

So sorry about the experience you had here. When the artic blast hits Sioux Falls, it hits us hard. On top of the heating issues we experienced, we had some water pipes break, as well as other businesses and schools in the area. Our maintenance team worked extensively throughout the night to get the water back up and running. As much as we try to control the no smoking in the rooms, as we do charge a 300.00 smoking fee, some are reluctant to follow the hotel policies. As for where you were placed, it's not based on prices but availability of rooms. If you have any questions, please feel free to call the hotel and ask for me.

The property has really deteriorated. I booked for 2 nights. I couldn't stay the second night. I couldn't be refunded my money, I just cut my losses and left. And wouldn't suggest anyone, especially with a family to stay there. When the police followed me in and had to deal with a situation in the room next door, and outside my door. And it seemed to be a regular occurrence for the police. I had to leave. No heat in the lobby and halls. I left for part of the day, had to take everything with, afraid if housekeeping came, everything would disappear, but no sign of housekeeping. Would not recommend staying here.

Sorry you had a bad experience during the cold weather. When it gets 20 below and more below zero, the heating units have a difficult time keeping up with the cold. As for the police, when we have unruly guest, we do use their services to remove those guests so they will not be an issue to you and your family. As for my housekeeping staff, we have had no issues with prior guest with theft and am very proud of the work they do. AS for a refund for the second night you didn't stay, please call the hotel and ask for me and I will work with you to get that 2nd nifht back.

Old facility.
Pool and slide were great. Breakfast was very basic cereal toast bagels coffee etc. Building is in need of professional repair not handyman repair. I received a fraud alert from Discover the morning that I stayed there for a fuel depot in Texas. The only place I had used my card was to reserve my room. Maybe just a coincidence.

We had a very large group of kids and we enjoyed the pool and the slide VERY much. The pool water was warm and the pool area was very clean. You need a staff member to open the pool area for you which may be an inconvenience for some but with our group having 10 children in the hotel it gave me peace of mind that the older ones couldn't just run off and let themselves in unsupervised. The staff was very friendly and we had a great time!!

CLOSE TO AIRPORT AT A REASONABLE PRICE, Rooms need more updating, my room's door to bathroom was coming apart bottom of door was clear taped together. Staff was nice. Air conditioner was leaking so floor near unit was wet. I was not sure where water was coming from. I needed a lower price stay returning from a hunting trip. ps no staff after 10 pm.

A Front desk Employee has dogs that bark all night and early morning.. if you call him, he pretends that he will find out who's dogs they are to stop them from barking, in hopes that you don't find out, they are in fact his dogs that bark all night and day.. Inch of snow on ground 26 above no heat just blew cool air only 2 lights worked out 3 had to unscrew 1 bulb to shut off ,only door locked was at night was the one for the front check in otherwise other ones were opened all night didn’t even have to use keycard

Not great. Smelled of smoke, they didn’t have our room ready and had to walk into random rooms to find us one. Shower didn’t drain, lights didn’t work, not clean, holes in walls and ceiling. Pool slide didn’t work. Keys stopped working after first day. Watered down hand soap. Staff complaining loudly of not being paid. Smelled bad everywhere.
