Well located hotel

Posted Dec 31, 2014
Pros: Friendly and helpful staff
Cons: After showering the floor in the bathroom was wet which seemed to be coming from a leak.
Location: I was visiting family and only there for one night so I didn't explore the surroundings
The Coniston was good value and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Room was comfortable and a nice touch, mince pies and sherry in the room, as it was Christmas night. Breakfast delicious with a good selection.

Christmas Stay

Posted Dec 28, 2014 on Hotels.com
The staff made me feel very welcome, and after check-in and finding my room, I was greeted with a christmas card and festive drinks and mince pies. The food was very nice and everywhere was clean and tidy. I was very impressed and will be returning here if I need to stay in Sittingbourne again

Lovely looking hotel. Staff really helpful (Jon). Room spacious but VERY cold on entry (it's an energy saving measure). Otherwise really good vfm.

Fantastic we both loved it. would highly recommend it. looking forward to our next visit.A bit expensive though. breakfast for £14/person is quite on the high side after paying nearly £100.

Fuktigt ibland

Posted Oct 28, 2014 on Hotels.com

Very comfortable modern styled rooms

Posted Sep 11, 2014 on Hotels.com
Excellent modern style hotel with great spacious rooms which have lots of good touches like remote control blinds for the windows. Nice big comfortable bed, great FREE Wi-Fi for multiple devices, just ask for as many codes as you need from reception. Plenty of free parking on-site. Breakfast is a self service buffet which was good. The only issue I had was my room was overlooking gardens of houses to the rear of the hotel and a dog was barking in the middle of the night which woke me up, other than that it was a great overnight stay.

Good value for money

Posted Sep 5, 2014 on Hotels.com
We stayed at the Best Western for a wedding that was taking place nearby. The hotel is very modern. There is ample car park spacing round the back. The rooms were quite clean although due to not being able to open our window it did feel a bit musty. The blinds are automatic and it took us a few goes to get the blind up but it wasn't a significant issue in any way. The bed was slightly uncomfortable but decent enough for one or two nights. The staff were very pleasant. Tip: try not to get drinks charged to your room - it caused a few of us some difficulties on check out. Would stay again if in the area.
