Always a pleasurePosted Dec 14, 2013 on Hotels.com
I have stayed at Anja several times and I am genuinely pleased with the courteous staff, clean rooms and location of apartments. The staff is always concerned about quality of the stay and the guest's comfort. I'll stay again.

The apartments were near the Vardar and conveniently located. The rooms were clean, comfortable and in excellent condition. I have stayed at Anja numerous times and this one was certainly one of the best.

Excellent locationPosted Nov 3, 2013 on Hotels.com
Pretty basic room. Very small but clean and secure. Fantastic location right on the river abot 100m from Macedonia Square and the Stone Bridge. Very friendly staff and good food in the pizzeria below the rooms. Not luxury but really convenient. Very cheap too at €30 per night!

Would definitely returnPosted Sep 4, 2013
Pros: The room and the location could not be better. Took us 30 seconds from the door to be in the central square.
Cons: The manager as mentioned above and the breakfast didnt exactly set the world on fire.
Location: Location is amazing we could see the bridge and the Museum of the Macedonian struggle from the room. Central square 50 meters from the front door.
Upon arrival we were met by a joke of a manager who kept us waiting for close to half an hour to photocopy our passports, was extremely perturbed whenever we asked a question, mentioned payment the next morning four or five times which was eventually just rude and was way too touchy-feely. After that was out the way however the room was great- extremely modern, great aircon, good shower and spotlessly clean. Would definitely recommend, without the creepy manager the stay was perfect.

Good enough for the price.Posted Aug 22, 2013 on Hotels.com
It was cheap so we didn't expect much, however we were pleasantly surprised. It was good enough for one or two nights, we had a whole little apartment to ourselves. The location was good, very close to the city center. Also, the apartment owner was extremely helpful!!

Won't book this place again.Posted Dec 9, 2012
Pros: Checking out.
Cons: Checking in and being taken to a block of flats
Location: Good, central location in the city. About 20 minutes walk to rail and bus stations. The Irish Pub near by (St Patricks) does good beers and food.
what a farce. we checked in at the hotel restaurant and were escorted to a grotty looking block of flats about 5 minutes walk away. the guy who escorted us had the wrong keys so he had to ring somebody's doorbell to get access, then as he had the wrong keys we couldn't get into our room anyway which was on the second floor, no lift. So we ended up back where we started and were given a room above the restaurant after I complained that I didn't want to stay in the block of flats and that we hadn't signed up for that anyway. The next day they were expecting us to check out although we had booked and paid for 3 nights. On check out day we left early (early flight to catch) and we had arranged a take away breakfast, but the security guy minding the restaurant didn't know anything about this and just shrugged his shoulders at us in a disinterested manner. The room we eventually got allocated was small and basic, clean though and functional enough for our needs. Be warned a noisy bar downstairs with loud music playing beyond midnight two nights we were there may be a cause for concern to some.
