“Inexpensive and comfortable”

Price is one of my main factors in choosing a hotel. This hotel is clean, basic, and even offers free WIFI. It had a fridge and a microwave in the room too. Highly recommend.

“Smyrna, Tenn. Deerfield Inn okay!”

It was a convenient place to stay for the event that I attended. The motel is easy to find...right off of Hwy 24 as you enter the Smyrna area. It has a variety of small restaurants in the area. I did not like the fact that the outside door was difficult to close. I approached the manager about the door not being secure, and he showed me how to lift up on the handle and pull it closed. This did work, but I heard many other doors in the motel being slammed numerous times, as they were having trouble with their doors as well. I noticed that the heat was also a factor. In the 96 degree heat, the door locks were more difficult to work properly. The room temperatures were comfortable; the water pressure and temperature were good. The rooms were furnished adequately with small coffee pot, refridgerator, clean towels and the bedding was nice. The mattress was firm and comfortable. The inside of the rooms were nicer than the exterior. The room was very clean and there were no unusual odors. The continental breakfast was a disappointment. There were small wrapped honey buns, dry cereal and coffee. I went once and didn't return for breakfast. Overall, the motel was adequate and met my needs....nothing out of the ordinary, but clean and comfortable. It was a good value for the money.

“Unconfortable stay.”

Toilet was only bolted to the floor on one side so It wobbled and did not flush properly. We called the staff about the toilet they brought us a plunger. Room was semi clean not great beds were old and uncomfortable. There was a hole by the a/c unit that they covered up with electrical tape. Would not reccomend this hotel at all.
