Comfort - just barelyPosted Sep 23, 2013
Cons: Maintenance, attention to customer concerns, and more comparable pricing to the surrounding hotels.
Hotel is a little off the main street, about 0.5 miles on a freeway frontage road and located in a residential and light industrial area. Was quiet, but parking lot maintenance has not been done in the last few years. A light fixture fell during the stay, and was not repaired. Maid service skipped the room on the only day of the stay when they would have been expected to clean and change linens, and hotel could not figure out how to fix the lack of cleaning. WIFI computer connection quit working and required a tech support service call and four hours to restore service. Pricing was premium for the area, and service/maintenance to the room was substandard. Bed was comfortable and room was adequately sized. Air conditioning was not in great condition and seemed undersized to be able to hold a comfortable temperature during the day.

A good hotel for my stayPosted May 5, 2013 on Hotels.com
The hotel was well priced, quiet, and in a good location. It was close to restaurants and gas stations. Room was clean and comfortable. I would definitely stay here again.

Difficult time finding hotelPosted Mar 1, 2013 on Hotels.com
Overall was a OK place to stop for the night. Hot tub was not working. But everything else was fine.

Convenient location for Bosque del Apache RefugePosted Nov 30, 2012 on Hotels.com
The staff was courteous but one clerk punched in a wrong morning alarm, causing us to miss one of the major events we came to Socorro for. The towels were damp and had dirt smudges on them. There was only one chair in the room for the two of us, making it inconvenient for eating at the table. I did like the small bed pillows very much but the quilt was way too heavy. The breakfast was pretty good though the scrambled eggs were like little dry nuggets. I've stayed at other Socorro hotels and didn't have any of the above problems.

OK.Posted Sep 20, 2012
Most everything was very good. The only issue I had was that the TV listing in the room had The Weather Channel listed as an available choice. When I tried to tune it in, there was nothing on that channel. This is an important channel to many travelers as it aids their travel planning. When I mentioned it to the front desk, the lady said that the firm providing that service had removed that channel and they had no control over it. I told her that they did have control over the listing chart in each room and if they should keep it updated.

Not worth the extra $Posted May 27, 2011 on Hotels.com
This hotel is much higher than other hotels just blocks away but I chose this hotel because of the indoor pool. The hot breakfast was not available, we had to wait in line behind staff to get our food, the drinks were extremely watered down and un-drinkable. There is no grass for your dog to do their business, there was never anyone at the front desk when you needed help or to check out. There were never pool towels available you had to ask every time. I will never stay here again and would not recommend.
