All you could expect for the reasonable ratePosted Jul 29, 2013
Pros: Clean room/bathroom. Comfortable bed.
Cons: Breakfast was late one time, but staff apologized. Rooms are small, but adequate.
Location: Safe location just off Hwy 27
If you just need a place to spend the night, this is just the thing. Not what you would choose for a vacation stay. Had very clean room and comfortable bed. Yes, there is a train track very near, but we have stayed 3 different times and the trains never disturbed my sleep.

Close to a businessPosted Jul 22, 2013
Pros: It had beds.
Location: Close to a business I was working with. Only needed one night.
On the highway. No full time desk clerk. Had to buzz the clerk to open the front door so I could register.

We were well satisfied with our stay. There is a train that runs frequently near the motel, but there are numerous trees along the track, so the sound is muffled. The train did go by the motel in the night, but I heard it because I was already awake - the train did NOT wake me up!

Clean rooms, straightforward stay. We spent the night here before be headed on towards Nashville. Now, it's out of the way — it's not in Chattanooga but instead in the next town over, roughly 20 miles away. There are no grocery stores around the hotel itself, but the room was a simple and clean (although dated) room. Not exciting, but neither does it feel sketchy. No frills.

Trapped In Soddy Daisy, TNPosted May 15, 2013
Pros: It was a roof over my head.
Cons: Better trained staff!
If youa re visiting Soddy Daisy TN you have to stay at this hotel....because it is the only hotel within miles!!!! It would almost be worth it to drive an extra 30 minutes. The hotel is not HORRIBLE. I have been to far worse. But, for the money, it very disappointing. You first are met at the window like a criminal by a clerk who is like a prison warden, questioning the age of everyone in your party, why you are there in town, what hours of the evening you will be coming in and out etc. It was worse than your dorm monitor in college!!!! When I am paying over $80 for a room, I expect to come and go as I please with my children!

The hotel is very close to the train tracks and the trains tend to be very loud. The staff is always very friendly to us. You can't beat the price!
