nice hotel to stay
the staff are very welcomed and they are very helpful. Hotel location is amazing, it is on the shore and the sea view is wonderful. night fruit meal is really a nice touch.honestly i would come again. regards,,

V Nice hotel
hotel is v nice staff is neither courteous nor efficient dont even expect them to drop your luggage to room the reception staff is a unhappy lot

Nice and quite hotel at the beach
Not much to do around the hotel. Food is good and staff are friendly and accommodating. The beach is a step away from the hotel. The children's pool was a bit dirty with leaves and insects!!

Hotel was clean comfortable and had and huge pool and excellent view of the ocean. The surrounding area outside of the hotel ,including the beach, could use a little clean up. I Would definitely recommend staying here and I would stay again if ever in Sohar again.

service was slow as we got our room only at 3 pm. the air condition was very cold especially in corridors which is uncomfortable when you are entering from the hot weather outside. easy access to the beach and nearby restaurants especially the fish market.

Great location on the beach.
Allocated a much bigger room than we were expecting. It also had a sea view. Had dinner in the evening which was very good and an excellent breakfast after we had a morning swim. A very enjoyable stay.

Great Hotel marred by poor service
Property located nicely. Rooms are big. Furniture good quality. But service is far below average. Only one Restaurant. Breakfast horribly managed and served.

Right on the beach
Lovely hotel, friendly staff, beautiful oceanfront suite. Room service dining was excellent. Strong WiFi, lovely amenities. The only fly in the ointment was very poor TV reception. Highly recommended.

Hotel Review
Room AC in the new building is totally not working (we had to change room 3 times till 4 AM) No bell for the guest rooms Minibar are not working in all rooms Most TV channels are not clear Internet is slow and disconnecting and asking for password many times. No Bellman to carry luggage. No lifeguard on pool. Pool need cleaning.

So nice
Our stay was nothing more than amazing unfortunately some areas of the hotel was being renovated, but this in no way stopped us for enjoying our stay. The staff and service was excellent.

Good for a break
Went for a weekend break during Ramadan. This meant food situation was difficult during the day. There is a very good supermarket 2 km away. Hotel was undergoing some refurbishment but stayed in new building and rooms were very nice. The pool is big and deep. Beach is next to hotel but is only narrow. Staff were helpful and tried hard to please.

Bad luck or better reaction needed?
Stayed total 4 nights, with 2 complete days no Internet and sometimes even no AC --- electricity failure, per hotel staff. Maybe it was only bad luck but I prefer better emergency react from the hotel, it's killing in this season without AC. The new building facilities are not completely in condition either. Some details in rooms need to be improved.

Nice beachside hotel
Very nice hotel with super location right on the beach. Friendly staff and excellent service in beautiful surroundings incl. tennis court, swimming pool and garden.

Will definitely go back.
The hotel staff was helpful and courteous. Bar staff was very friendly. Restaurant was great except we were not told about the grill available during the buffet. So we ate just vegetables. Waitstaff was great otherwise. I think the hotel needs to do some up keep on maintainence. The towel rack was falling down in our room and the tile was a little old and loose. It was a very beautiful setting and the grounds were nice. Will certainly go back.

Nous n avions pas été prévenus des travaux devant être effectués lors de notre réservation et n avons pas été informés entre temps Pas de piscine ,extérieur détérioré même pas une chaise longue... La plage de plus n a aucun intérêt sale etc... Nous avons tenté d obtenir un geste de la part de cet hôtel qui a été refusé! Quoiqu’il en soit le lieux n a pas grand intérêt Enfin la baie vitrée ne fonctionnait pas ...

De lokatie werd verbouwd en was niet aangegeven. Het zwembad was gesloten en er was een verbouwing aan de hal zodat het hotel rook naar verf.

Wir hatten eine saubere und tolle Suite, viel Platz, ein schönes Bad und zwei Toiletten. Dass die sehr schönen Bleiglas-Fenster sanierungsbedürftig sind und die Fenster alle mit Klebeband »abgedichtet« waren, ist nicht grade schön. Alles war sauber, aber die Fenster komplett »blind« und ungeputzt. Sehr schade, denn das Hotel ist architektonisch sehr!!! schön und würde es verdienen, saniert zu werden. Leider wahrscheinlich zu wenige Gäste. Das Essen war besonders gut, der Service ebenso. Wir würden jederzeit wieder in dieses Hotel gehen!

Nur die Lage ist super
Wir hatten ein Chalet mit Küche gebucht. Die Küche bestand nur aus einem Spülbecken und einem Kühlschrank. Kochen nicht möglich. Alles sehr veraltet. Leicht muffiger Geruch. Lage war sehr schön. Direkt am Strand. Zum schwimmen und Schnorcheln super.

Sehr interessante Architektur, wunderbare Lage direkt am Meer: So könnte es ein Schmuckstück der Hotellerie von Sohar / Oman sein. Könnte ... Wenn es einmal wieder renoviert oder noch besser: rundum saniert würde. Schade, schade.
