"Heart of London, Soulful Hotel"
After a lot of traveling, I came to the Haymarket for one night before flying back home. The room was fantastic, the location perfect, the service magnificent and the bar an oasis for the weary traveller.

"The hotel and staff was great!"
The hotel staff was great! They called two days prior to check in to confirm what time I was arriving and did I need ground transportation. The registration agent met me in the lobby, gave me a tour and registered me. Tony the head valet who has been there almost 30 years is fantastic! Pretty much everything and anything you ask for they will accommodate you.

The folks at the soho hotel have thought through every aspect to ensure you feel totally at ease and relaxed: very helpful staff, cool decor, super comfortable rooms that make you want to stay in and great smelling bath products. I can't wait try other properties and would definitely go back again.

"Wonderful, characterful hotel in a great location"
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Hazlitt's. The staff were welcoming, friendly and helpful, and the atmosphere was one of comfortable and relaxed elegance. Our room was charming - a reasonable size, with lots of lovely period features - and we also enjoyed sitting in the library and browsing the wide selection of antique books. The location was ideal for us - easy walking distance to all the shops, theatres and restaurants we wanted to visit, and not too much street noise despite its proximity to all the Soho nightlife. The hotel has no restaurant, although it is possible to have breakfast delivered to your room in the morning. We mostly breakfasted elsewhere - we found that the Dean Street Townhouse, which is only a few minutes walk away, serves an excellent breakfast with very good service. However, on the morning we were due to leave we opted to have breakfast served in our room at Hazlitt's, and we were pleasantly surprised with the standard of the food and the generous portion sizes.

"A Unexpected Bastion of Modern Glamour"
I was in London last week for business and randomly chose the ME on Expedia. I didn't really know what to expect. Immediately upon arrival I began to realize what an stellar lodging I had stumbled upon. Modern, clean, chic, sexy -- those are just a few words I would use to describe the place. The reception desk is located within a massive pyramid of stone extending up 9 stories to a skylight. In the evenings, they have a reception there and project an amazing lightshow up onto the walls. It is really cool!! There is a FANTASTIC rooftop restaurant featuring a terrace offering amazing views of London. It was a great spot for entertaining my clients. A note on the staff -- they were all so nice and accommodating. At first one might think that because they are all young and beautiful and wearing mostly black that they might be snobby, but that was not at all the case. They all seemed to have a relaxed ease and were perfectly in-tune with making everything just right for their guests. If you are looking for something traditional or a place to stay with young children this may not be a good fit -- as I said before, it is modern, chic and sexy. Not that children wouldn't enjoy themselves - it just seemed to be a very adult-oriented kind of place.

"Great Location"
The hotel was excellent and we would return on another visit. We found the restaurants in the hotel did not have enough casual or light dining. A coffee shop style facility would have been a welcome addition so we could pop in for a light snack in the evening. Otherwise the hotel was superb.

"A great central hotel for the West End"
The Radisson Blu in Mercer Street is a fantastically located hotel for the West End theatres and the area around is extremely pleasant. Staff were very helpful and our superior double, although on the small side was located at the back and was lovely and quiet, there was good attention to detail and the cleanliness could not be faulted. We did eat in the restaurant attached (Scoff & Banter) which had a nice atmosphere and found the food good but not exceptional. We would definitely stay here again.
