Bad

Posted Jul 7, 2013
Pros: we only booked for one night
Cons: dirty and not maintained
The reception had the front door handle hanging off - broken. The whole complex is in need of serious maintainence. The room was dirty - dog hair on the badly worn carpet. No towels or pillow slips. weeds in the carperk and pebbles strewwn all over the pathway. I thought that maybe it was due to be closed or demolished it was so bad.

Very Clean hotel with very good rooms

Excellent hotel for the money, either a short walk, 20 mins to Soissons or a taxi ride, but the taxis were expensive 9 euros, we were told by friends that the price we were charged was above normal!!

Pros: Beds
Cons: Decor
Beds very comfortable. Outside of hotel needed a paint. Expensive for the condition of the hotel but there's not a huge amount of choice in the area.

A tired and slightly rundown property

Posted Jun 5, 2008 on Hotels.com
We arrived on a Sunday evening and were met by a very pleasant receptionist. The room was in poor repair, no plug for the bath, and no spare toilet role. Mould around the bath/shower, and a general impression that this property needs some maintainance and upgrades to modern standards. However, the evening meal was excellent, and a reasonable price. The next morning breakfast was again good, but we were disappointed that the morning receptinist insisted we still had to pay. eventually by showing him printouts we managed to convince him that we had prepaid. he took this with poor grace, and certainly did not apologise for his error.
