So SoPosted May 17, 2015
The room was clean. The bed was adequate. WiFi did not work in the wing I was in. I had to go to the main office to get Internet access. The facility needs maintenance--exterior of doors are rusting, hand rails need paint, one piece of furniture had an unfinished top, trash bins should be better protected from birds, etc. Coffee and danish in the morning was good. Staff was okay.

Typical affordable roomPosted Feb 11, 2015
This motel is exactly what you'd expect from an "economy" motel. Sufficient room, nothing special, not dirty, affordable price within 10 miles of Atlantic City. When rooms at the big casino hotels were $400+ a night, this was a great option for staying close by for 10% of that. My only gripe was that I was there in the dead of winter and the rooms are not heated when unoccupied so we were quite cold while waiting for the room to heat up.

Re-build it!Posted Jan 31, 2015 on Hotels.com
The staff were helpful & nice, but the facility & grounds are just plain old. It needs to be re-built & the property cleaned thoroughly. While the rooms are advertised as non-smoking, they have obviously been smoked-in through the years - don't go if you have asthma.

Don't expect much and you won't be disappointedPosted Jan 21, 2015 on Hotels.com
You get what you paid for, don't expect much. Room was clean enough, beds were comfortable. walls are thin so you can hear next door. Check in and check out were easy. Good location, great price. Don't expect much and you won't be dissapointed

Decent hotel over ChristmasPosted Jan 7, 2015
Pros: There was a noisy family in the room next to me when I first arrived, the hotel moved me the next day to a much quieter room.
Cons: Landline phone was almost unusable due to static but who uses landlines anymore?
Location: Right outside of Ocean City. Nice walk to that ugly new bridge they've installed. Wawa across the street
Had a nice stay at the Econo Lodge in Somers Point. Wawa is right across the street so I culd get my morning coffee before the continental breakfast opened at 7am. Nice big flat screen TV, fast Internet.

Convenient location, very nice servicePosted Oct 17, 2014 on Hotels.com
Very nice gentleman greeting you when you arrive. One thing wrong with our room was when you took a shower, underneath the vinyl of the tub, it filled up with water making it feel like you were surfing or walking on water. You had to put one hand on the wall to keep from tipping over. Other than that, I'd stay there again if I had to.

Great stay for MS150 ride! Superb staff! Clean!Posted Sep 29, 2014
Pros: Clean, affordable, staff was great!
Cons: Smoke smell
Location: Windjammer Restaurant OCNJ Beach and Boardwalk
My girlfriend and I stayed here on Sat night of the MS150 ride and we were pleasantly surprised. It was a clean room and just what we needed for the cost. The hotel staff was amazingly friendly and courteous and did everything to make our stay the most comfortable it could be. We did notice that the room smelled a little like smoke and they offered to give us a new room if they had any vacancies that night but they were booked. The manager even wanted to go out and buy us some spray to cover it up but we declined. Nice people and a nice place. Try the Windjammer Restaurant across the street for amazing food too!
