Dated hotel but OK nights sleep.

Posted May 30, 2014
Not as comfortable or welcoming as some and I expected a little more for the charge. No problems, it's just a bit dated and old.

Just what you need!!!

Posted Apr 5, 2014
No frills; polite staff; clean; tidy and cheap.. Sometimes you don't want a big fancy expensive hotel stay.. Sometimes you just 'need' cheap and cheerful where clean, warm, friendly, come as standard. This is exactly what I got when I stayed here.. Was a really pleasant place which was basic but was just what I needed..

it was a superb stay.

Pros: Every thing which a hotel is expected to provide.
Cons: Only missed a mini fridge. But at the price can't expect that luxury.
Location: Western Super Mare and Cheddar caves
we have stayed in a five star hotel and we have stayed here. This was like a five star without the price. It was a very comfortable stay. The room was very clean and warm. The bathroom was spotless. The hot water and the pressure was conducive to an excellent shower. Would like to stay again in another Days Inn

Comfortable hotel, convenient location

Posted Feb 3, 2014
Pros: Helpfulness of the staff, convenient location and comfortable room.
Cons: Possibly the bathroom could do with updating. Personally I'm not a fan of shower curtains!
Location: I was there for a specific event but if you wanted to visit the beach at Brean or Burnham on Sea access was easy or travel inland to Glastonbury etc
I had a 2 night stay at this hotel with my 2 dogs and found it to be a pleasant and convenient place to stay. The reception staff were friendly and helpful. The room was clean, comfortable and considering it is next to the motorway surprisingly quiet.

Ideal overnight stopover.

Posted Feb 1, 2014
Pros: Four C s : Clean, Comfortable, Convenient - and Cheap.
Location: Right on the M5 Sedgemoor service area (northbound) but no traffic noise that we could hear.
After moving out of our house in South Devon, we wanted an overnight before going on to our new location farther north. Tired out, we arrived with our dog at 8 in the evening to a big comfortable warm room with inviting en-suite. Friendly helpful desk staff. Slept like logs. Took the option of continental breakfast, in the room spot on time - good value and very adequate : choice of cereals, plus fruit juice, yogurt, (slightly dry) croissant and jam, and an apple. Obviously tea and coffee was available from the hospitality tray in the room. Pleasant unfussy service - just what we needed.

comfy bed

Posted Jan 28, 2014 on Hotels.com
Just stayed at Days Inn, booked on line but found on arrival that the room was a smoking room as a non- smoker I was shocked that a hotel did a smoking room with the law as it is. But the hotel was empty so was moved to a non-smoking room, but was told it was more expensive but as the hotel was empty, the receptionist would waive the extra charge. Next time I will check if the room is non-smoking and not a smoking room. Overall a basic room at budget price.
